i believe that it's impossible not to believe things, if you have a functioning brain.
Okay.

But if what you BELIEVE is true here was actually NOT true, then would you want to hear it?
Yes of course. Beliefs are contingent on evidence, and we can always find out more.
Okay.

It is possible to not believe things, while there is a functioning brain.

1. Some claims cohere (with others) or are useful. They're not true in the sense "the moon reflects sunlight" is true.

2. There's this joke about Socrates who refused to listen to what his friend had to say because it was not certain, not useful, and not going to make him happy (Xanthippe was having an affair).

Do you believe that when you typed those words, they would appear?

Because I also did NOT DISBELIEVE that they would appear, nor BELIEVE that they would NOT appear.

Sorry, that's just sophistry. I'm willing to bet that you were confident they would appear. And there's no difference between that, and believing it.

LOL NO DIFFERENCE between 'confident' AND 'believing'?

Have you ever LOOKED in a dictionary, (and you do NOT need eyesight to LOOK and SEE 'things'), and if you have, then have you EVER NOTICED that each word HAS A DIFFERENT meaning or definition?

And, because each word has A DIFFERENT definition or meaning this means that there IS ACTUALLY A DIFFERENCE between those two words and ALL words.

Oh, and by the way, I had NEVER even wondered if those, nor even these, words would appear or not. In fact I really do NOT care either way, and I CERTAINLY neither BELIEVE nor DISBELIEVE that they would, nor will, nor NOT.

In the real world, there's no difference. That's how we live in the world, by believing a whole load of things.

You CAN speak for you and be CORRECT, but when you 'try to' speak for 'me' you will NOT be correct ALL of the time, like here now.

I NEITHER believe NOR disbelieve ANY thing (except for one thing). Can you comprehend this? Do you understand this?

Of course I can understand it, but you are deceiving yourself, if that's what you really believe. Why bother getting up in the morning?

LOL but I OBVIOUSLY do NOT really 'believe' 'it'.

So, I am NOT deceiving "myself", like those who BELIEVE things are true, which are NOT true. Like, for example, they can NOT even live nor function WITHOUT BELIEVING 'things'.

'To SEE what the day brings', as some might say.

So you believe there such a thing as a day, then, and a bed to get out of?
