I agree with your first and the system I propose enhances the free marketplace more than it is right now as poor teachers are quite hard to fire.

I also agree that the government should not own the facilities but do not agree that government has no role to play.
Education is key to the progress of a nation and that gives governments a loud voice in what standards they need to keep the country doing well.

You believe government should have a loud voice in educational standards? These are the people you wouldn't ask the time of day from for fear of getting the wrong answer. You say the system you propose enhances the free marketplace because poor teachers are hard to fire? If education is not publicly funded and operated, I guarantee you that private, profit-making companies in a competitive market will have no trouble firing poor teachers.
Seems we are close on these issues.

You've just committed social suicide, in this Forum,

The only proper function of government is social integration, like a traffic cop keeping people from running into each other. Government should not own, operate, support or promote anything. That means government should not even promote education, much less own, operate or support it. Education and other issues should be left to the people in a free market.

Please, we don't want to join the socialist and totalitarian tyranny of England and the rest of the world.

 Our police don't shoot our citizens for trying to produce their driving license. Anyone can drive a mini-cab at a minimal cost. We can drink pretty much when and where we like. There is little to no religion in our politics. We can be treated for our health problems whatever our condition. We don't live in fear of being shot by our neighbors, etc, etc. And all under a non-socialist nor totalitarian tyranny. Whereas you appear to be under such a system but believe otherwise. Go figure.

England is the land of milk and honey, huh? You've got such an ignorant and warped understanding of America that it is difficult to know where to begin. I think I'll just leave it at the fact that England has a national church supported by British taxpayers, and there's no way you can mitigate this repulsive state of affairs!

In comparison? Looks like.

You've got such an ignorant and warped understanding of America that it is difficult to know where to begin.
 You barking mad loony! Apart from the driving license, which I watched happen on youtube, the rest sre your words.
I think I'll just leave it at the fact that England has a national church supported by British taxpayers, and there's no way you can mitigate this repulsive state of affairs!
You think!? No evidence of that. Hence I've already told you that the CofE is not supported by the taxpayer and the benefits from having such a thing. But along with not thinking you are incapable of reading or understanding anything due to your monomania and that you are a megalomaniac.

"The Church of England is a legal charity and, as such is exempt from income tax. The tax which has been paid on the giving of Church people can be recovered from the Inland Revenue. Church people should understand that this recovery of tax is not "stealing from the Government" but good stewardship of their resources."-Church of England
Recovery of tax is not stealing from the government? I'm afraid thou doth protest too much!

The money given by the church people has been taxed once. Why do you think it should be taxed again?
Although in reality they can only claim 25%.

First of all, only a limey would refer to parishioners as "church people," and secondly, there's really no point of going on except to say that this goofy-ass church makes more money than McDonald's, but needs a tax break.
