It seems to me that there comes a time when we must just say "This we accept as true" and go on from there. Any thing can be doubted, and a definition can be demanded for any word, but this only leads to an endless regression and no conclusions. "For sake of Argument" can save a lot of time on terms and Ideas that are relatively well understood, but different backgrounds must be accounted for and cleared up in the beginning.
Agree in full.
You both seem to be concerned with "another post in another thread". I do not bring those concerns here.
here i am concerned with the most distilled of all logic "the axiom of identity". Without it we can not "go on" from anywhere. or reach anywhere.

When i'm in symmetry mode i see clearly that set theory's explanation of relations is basicaly passive. Equivalence needs to be a verb. Duality needs to be fundamental. those ideas come from symmetry considerations, what they actually mean i am yet to discover. Reflexivity is the culprit.
"for the sake of argument" will not do because "argument" itself is that which is under scrutiny. the scenary may be unpleasant but we may not "go on" somewhere else because its the cars motor thats "bust".

There are a few points that you seem to have forgotten, this thread is for introductions and you have done that, so If you want a discussion, you should start a thread in the appropriate section.
Dalek's and My comments were relevant to the subject of this thread and not some other thread.
You may have started the thread but you don't own it, and it's not in your place to "tell" others what to do, a better means would be to ask politely, or suggest.
