Funnywise yes, when a consistent narrative permits even a dark double entendre. For instance, we can say that the responsibility for what the robot overlords hath wrought is literally
on them, on the skulls that created the robots, after the skulls have been emptied of worth ... a metaphor for all creators from top to bottom so often reviled for what they have done, humor in the grim irony.
