Trump could reverse it starting today, if he wanted to.

So here we are. Another war, and it doesn't look like we're getting out of it any time soon. The last war we started was under Republican George Bush. And conservatives still believe the Democrats are "evil". There are no words.

The Islamic regime that is an international threat, is more of an international threat with nuclear weapons.
Therefore, they should not have nuclear weapons.
They will not drop this demand.

He could use the words he's used when giving up on other stuff he's failed at though. "Nobody knew that health care could be so complicated". "Concept of a plan". Something like that, while he just leaves and does something else.

What about starting an unprovoked war is not worth speaking up about, even when words fail? People are dying unnecessarily because of that man's individual decision. I'm not sure what is more evil than that. Had someone else provoked a war, most people would rightly be speaking out against it.

So now it seems that Operation Epic Failure has been fleetingly replaced by Project Freedom, itself now on hold.

Sincere question: has Trump worked out yet what his war aims were? Or is he holding back on announcing them so he can make them match whatever the ceasefire agreement turns out to be?

70 minutes before Axios ran the story that the US was close to a "memorandum of understanding" to end the war, somebody placed 10,000 crude oil short contracts. The price of oil then fell by 12% netting that person $125 million dollars.

The same pattern has been apparent every time a news story has been followed by a price drop. Trump's war aims are in that margin.

I guess we have to give some credit to Trump and his cronies. They get right to the point and have no qualms about brazenly stooping to the most flagrant abuses of power. They don't even try to hide it or dress it up. Their moto seems to be if Democrats can do it in the shadows we can do it in broad daylight. So much for the great white hope. But at least they're not bashful about it.
