Does matter always behave deterministically?
Yes.
bahman wrote: Mon Nov 08, 2021 9:39 am If yes, then you have a problem with your hand.
Do I REALLY?

If yes, then what EXACTLY is that supposed 'problem', to you?
I have repeated this a few times.
You have NEVER even said it once, let alone a few times.

Unless, OF COURSE, you prove me wrong here.
bahman wrote: Tue Nov 09, 2021 2:34 pm If the system is deterministic the future is determined by the past which means that you don't have options.
Well the system is, obviously, NOT only deterministic. Therefore, there is NO problem here.

Hiw could it be a no, you just informed us that I did have, correct?
Ok.

Do you have any option when you are falling down from a building (except moving your arms for example)?
There are LOTS of options. BUT, even if there were NONE what is the ACTUAL point that you want to get to here eventually?
I mean do you have the option not to fall.
LOL

So, what you are ASKING and TELLING is, While one is falling, then do they have an option to NOT fall?

Which the answer to is pretty OBVIOUS, and NOT really worthy of needing to be said.

But, STILL, what is the ACTUAL point, which you want to get to here eventually?

Well, the point is that there is only one option when you are falling, being to fall, therefore you don't have another option or options.

There exists the ability to choose. Which some refer to as 'free will'.

So what? What has that got to do with ANY thing here.

Also, let us not forget that you had the ability to choose not to put "yourself" into that position, where you are now "falling", Okay?

Unless, of course, you BELIEVE that you do not have that ability and so blame ANY thing ELSE for ALL of your Wrong doing.

Do you BELIEVE that EVERY thing you do is because of SOME thing ELSE?

Or, do you 'try to' take credit for when you do what you class is good or right?

You cannot have both in a system.

Your body is subjected to the laws of nature. Your mind is free. Your mind can however affect your body when there are options for movement of your body.

In your opinion, does nature not exert any influence over the mind at all?
