How does science work? And what's all this about quantum mechanics?

I do not find that the replies here have a basis in either science or academic learning ;so you will excuse me if I take leave of this forum .

Also? How come we went from Metaphysics to Phil of Sci? As at least I thought it should be in Applied Ethics meself.

Personally,
I'm still interested in what ethical consequences are involved in such thoughts?

Who would want to debate with you?
You have no original thoughts.
You contribute nothing to expand the intellectual horizon.
You are just a self obsessed pseudo intellectual like your friend.
Deluded and pitiful.

 You sound familiar?

Whose asking for a debate? I'm still waiting for what you think the ethical consequences are with respect to the thoughts of these physicists? As you said there were some.

The Copenhagen Interpretation .
The Double Slit Experiment confirms Superposition of the particle in all possible states.
This has been accepted by the academic world and now the upshot is ,that we exist independently, in many different scenarios , in a multiple universe
condition.

This has implications for ethics ,since we will take a number of routes and exist with each separate outcome.

Anyone who replies to this post will reply, will not reply ,will reply in support ,will reply with conjecture and all these variable states exist in an embodied form in a real universe.
The many worlds interpretation is not the only alternative to the Copenhagen one. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interpreta ... _mechanics

The "we" in another universe wouldn't actually be "us". They'd be a very similar person, but not identical to us, as they have had different experiences. As we move forward in time, these differences accumulate.

The "we" would be identical in every detail. The only difference is the change of circumstances.

As wanker must be for you, but are you going to get around to saying what these ethical implications are? Or have you already done so in another world?

So, not every detail. An essential part of personal identity is one's experiences. Different circumstances make different people.
