I don't use terms like anti realist so don't know. Seems something a academic writing a text book would come up with. Point out a classical writer who was one and I might agree, might not.
For the discussion of all things philosophical.

It was also irony, but going beyond the scope of this thread, though not the forum. Some famous antirealists about universals are René Descartes, John Locke, Baruch Spinoza, Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, George Berkeley, and David Hume. But you have to be a special kind of antirealist to think there was consciousness at the time of Big Bang or a theist of some kind. So, I have no examples of an antirealist like VA, except VA.Constantine wrote: ↑Sat Jul 22, 2023 1:33 pm I don't use terms like anti realist so don't know. So, antirealism, (theistic) realism, and as far as the Big Bang, perhaps specifically skeptical or your uncertainty might be based on, for example, antirealism in relation to unobservables.Constantine wrote: ↑Sat Jul 22, 2023 1:46 pm I don't believe in universals but do God, but uncertain if the big bang existed.
