Yeah! Keeping it open and not quarantined unlike yours where every contrary opinion amounts to anathema. All wisdom is rejected which isn't your wisdom. In your case renewing one's mind is repeating the same phrases, the same expressions over and over again. So much for renewal.

Yes. After continuity of thought is interrupted continuity subsequently resumes, refreshed to an uncluttered world, a world experienced fresh. A commonly known experience of this resumption is emergence from dreamless sleep.

Imagine a clear pool of water over a bed of silt. The clear water is reality. The silt is thought. An event happens. Horses gallop through the pool and stir up the thoughts. Thoughts crowd into the clear pool of reality, swirling and colliding. During daily events some of the silt thickens into familiar identities and thus connects to the most recent continuity.

Eventually, dreamless sleep again settles the silt and again refreshes the mind into stillness. If upon the next awakening the old silty memories remain undisturbed on the pool bed and do not mingle with the clear pool of reality that contains no objects, then before the I thought of the known world again arises from the mud, awareness will remain suspended in the still, clear pool of reality, a clean resonance untouched by time or thought.

You see for me walker i take the veiw of a universalist. From this perspective the soul of man or the objective of man begins pretty far down on the inversly octave. The value of the soul is to receive from above and give its value to below. Obviously it isn't well received. An Aeon is really defined by the cycle of conscious man entering the earth. when it is finlly asorbed by the earth it is time for the next arrival from above to serve to awaken where possible.

So the bottom line is that you see it. as the height nothing and I see it the beginning of somethin Man has potential for.

Your style of setting up dichotomies to be affirmed or adjusted does encourage dialogue and is constructive if one doesn’t take the assumptions to heart. The assumptions are merely avenues for discussion, although I suppose they could be taken as accusations or condemnations if one were so inclined.

Of course in this instance no dichotomy exists. From nothing, all. Within nothing, infinite potentiality.

I merely described the process of mind refreshing from an operative level. It’s a physical thing.

A refreshed mind makes the rest of everything resonate so that the intellectual route to clarity, the intellectual expansion of consciousness via contemplative thought of which you speak … refreshes by joining what’s contained within the boundaries of the skin to the perceived world outside the boundaries of the skin. In doing so the boundaries vanish for the real you so that you experience via spirit that all that is out there, is the same that is in here.

As you say, from nothing, all. Within nothing, infinite potentiality. From the operative level within the flow of reality, the crucial element is continuity. Continuity is the keyword for you to consider in terms of what I’ve written. Break continuity, break the flow of reality. Sleep is not the only way to break continuity. A conk on the noggin will also do it but that won’t necessarily cause lightning to strike the spirit, although it might result in zen satori under the right conditions, if one is ready. But as you know, a lot of folks will just lash back if conked on the noggin.

I see so many claiming to be the highest authority. If there is no purpose to life it is surely condemned in society. but the Great Beast is King. So I'd like to leave you with another possibilty . It is perennial concept which can enable a person to feel both the reason for science as well as philosophy and the essence of religion. It is what enbles universilim to live. I'll put it into a short way and tie it to the Bible.

First of all, top down reasoning beginning with the ONE and verifying the interactions of universal laws that involute and create the levels of reality which sustain the great universe requires the conscious experience of the vertical direction connecting levels of reality. There are law which dictate what is natural for each level of creation.Without this awareness, deductive reason which reveals the dynamics of our universe is impossible. The ancients were well aware of the problem. It is recorded in the Bible as the myth of the Tower of Babel.

Genesis 11:1-9

Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. 2 As people moved eastward,[a] they found a plain in Shinar and settled there.
3 They said to each other, “Come, let’s make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar. 4 Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.”

5 But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower the people were building.6 The LORD said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. 7 Come, let usgo down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.”

Moving eastword means psychologically growing in knowledge.
Building with bricks instead of stone means psychologically building with man made perversions of objective truth. Building a tower to God on man made conceptions creates a faulty foundation leading to disaster so knowledge had to be devolved into opinions and its been that way ever since. Trying to create a tower or a conscious perspective leading to higher consciousness by means of inductive logic leads to chaos and destructive false pride.

The conscious man or those like Einstein called the cosmic man has acquired the ability for both top down deductive reason connecting him with the direction of his arising and bottom up inductive reason which enables him to grasp science. In this way the essence of religion and the goal of science are complimentary

Obviously it isn't wanted. To argue over the benefits of the great beast rules the day. Why argue The crowd ask us to give us Barabbas

Or species as a whole is very for from this quality of consciousness which begins with the universe as a living machine with the earth within it serving a necessary purpose.

We seem to be at at a time within transition in which the world is no longer the center of the universe but a necessary part connecting the whole, If our species is to survive it it is something to look forward

16 But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. 17 For truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.

These people who will be persecuted in modern secular society have experienced something impossible to explain for those who haven’t experienced it. They have renewed their mind and can reason in a new way

But what must a person do to become open to the experience of new eyes and ears? They must be open to it which society as whole struggles against.

Can renewing the mind help the scientist to understand the world? For example, how would secularism explain a point? We know we experience the third dimension as a cube, the second dimension as a sphere, and the first dimension as a line. A point has no dimensions so how can it exist? You can’t have something defining a line which doesn’t exist without hitting the LSD and diving into New Age fantasy. Can it be resolved but requires renewing the mind, to become able to reason in a new way which some of Jesus Disciples were capable of it.

That, in my opinion, will enable a certain growing minority to grow from the limitations of the secular world leading to contradictions and into the reality of universalism which reveals objective human meaning and purpose. The question is if humanity will survive the transition?

Yes. The vertical knowledge of being is perennial knowledge or always was as opposed to horizontal expressions of the potentials for being taking place at a given level of reality.

Where the scientist seeks to understand these horizontal expressions in our lives we call facts, the man of being seeks to remember the vertical connection between above and below and what is natural for the higher nature of his being.

The eastern mind unconcerned with facts finds it easier to concentrate on the belief that they are God. The Western mind appreciating the reality of the connection between what is above and below Plato's divided line is drawn to see how they are dual natured. how they are related and what creates the unnatural division

Te purpose of religion is to provide the quality of being necessary to reconcile above and below in our being so as to make inner unity possible. Of course once the experts got a hold of these ideas they have created such interpretations that lucifer now studies with man to learn the art of self deception.

It is hard to explain this especially for all caught up in the “I Am God” concept but to describe it superficially I begin with what Man is: having higher part of the soul descending from above and also the lower animal parts as creations of the earth along with the rest of animal life.

The struggle I refer to is between our higher and lower natures

The laws of nature Are designed so that everything turns in circles allowing it to serve its purpose

The quality of effort I refer to is conscious effort. It is unnatural for animal life which goes with the flow and serves its purpose, but what enables animal Man to evolve to become human requires an unnatural effort for animal life. Right there I can see why it must be hated and why those like Jesus and Socrates had to be killed. Conscious life threatens the dominance of mechanical life.

But the reality is that we are dual natured. A person may begin to be attracted to what it means to be human but the greater their desire is, the greater the desired to oppose it. What normally happens is that people create their own imaginary reality which allows a person to live in such an intolerable way.

But we alredy have our goal when learning to play piano. A person has the idea of a pinist and sees the value of the mind, emotions, and sensations cooperating. I But what does it mean to become human? We don’t know. Socrates was called the man with the greatest wisdom of because he admitted he knew nothing. This is the beginning which secularism cannot tolerate.

This is the position some of us find ourselves in. We know that the essence of science and religion both being true are compatible. Yet we look for those with understanding the meaning of science which doesn’t insult those who feel value in science but at the same time feel the purpose of the conscious quality and what religion awakens us to. How to put the facts of science into a conscious human perspective?

Let those who believe they are God continue. I am drawn to the meaning found by those who have found the quality of consciousness necessary to reconcile the attractions of science and religion in the cause of truth so a person can become human by vertically connecting above and below within their collective essence.
