You couldn't discuss it if you didn't have one. So clearly it''s central to all philosophy, because only consciousness can create and ponder philosophy.

That's 'what's up' with the obsession over consciousness. Now go ponder rationally.

You've gotta be kidding me. By that rationale, we should also discuss atoms with such obsessiveness, but we don't. Please don't tell me that's the reason everone else has for being so obsessed. Please tell me you just find it interesting or else I am so far out of y'all's league it's sad and disgusting.

Atoms don't create philosophy. Consciousness does. And it's the only reason we can discuss this now.

Always considered you an aspiring mentee.

Now you are elevating me to god-like status.

Kind-of comfortable with that.

Believe me, I am human...All too human.

I appreciate the accolades by you specifically
and, in general, I appreciate the entire PhilosophyNow Forum community holding me in such high regard. This means a lot to me and as I have stated in the past, the nobility that I enjoy here does not go unnoticed.

Thank you! - Now BACK TO PHILOSOPHY!

You excelled yourself with this [img], I'm amazed you can get them so consistently the same.

The gnu still looking for acolytes is he.

I'm growing comfortable with that.
Of course, as it suits your delusional narcissism.
Believe me, I am human...All too human.
So?

Only in your imagination as by and large the entire PhilosophyNow Forum has you on ignore.
Thank you! - Now BACK TO PHILOSOPHY!
Which as usual you'll no doubt ignore.

I post. Unabashedly.

I am a philosopher...Which, for the most part, I do not position myself for the by and large.

I comfort, hold, and protect Sophia...against all odds.

Telling us three times won't make it any truer. Nor does excessive white-space nor bold and over-sized font.

........................................................Life is moving. CONSTANTLY.

............................Philosophy, REAL philosophy breaks the concept of ourselves; the concept of self, into nothing & everything at the same time. Into the moment & out of our minds.

It's wonderful, it's magic, it is impossible to even begin to describe and I realize that no one here has experienced it. Don't try to subdue me. It won't work.

When you think you are blocking me you are blocking yourself.

Don't screw yourself into a static hell.

Be Loose.

Being. Your state of being; consciousness, and attention is key.

Fight. Fight your thoughts at every moment...

What is this 'Life' you talk about?

Is it because you cannot break the concepts imbued into you by Catholicism that leads you to reify the fact of living things into this 'Life'?
............................Philosophy, REAL philosophy breaks the concept of ourselves; the concept of self, into nothing & everything at the same time. Into the moment & out of our minds.
Real philosophy and philosophers understand that those who express a blatant contradiction are always false.
It's wonderful, it's magic, it is impossible to even begin to describe and I realize that no one here has experienced it. ...
Experience is not what happens to you it's how you deal with whats happened and you obviously have not dealt very well with it.
Don't try to subdue me. It won't work.
Aw! Boo-boo's. This is why you're not suited to Philosophy nor a philosophy site as no-one is trying to subdue you Bill, they just point-out the apparent philosophical contradictions and confusions in your thoughts but that you think of it this way just goes to confirm what a gnu you are.
When you think you are blocking me you are blocking yourself.
Shouldn't you credit Dontaskme for this?

Still, no we are not blocking ourselves as, one, we are not blocking you but critiquing your thoughts, although I can well understand why a gnu would think this, and two, you are not me.
Don't screw yourself into a static hell.
Is this a bit like the 'hell' you continually describe yourself as being in?
Be Loose.
So loose that one can ignore a contradiction in one's thoughts? No thanks, as I prefer Philosophy to gnudom.

...................................
Being. Your state of being; consciousness, and attention is key.
Not sure what key it is to nor to what one is paying attention? But for sure paying attention to one's state and consciousness with respect to the world and others is a useful pastime, especially if one has goals or outcomes and need to communicate to achieve them.
Fight. Fight your thoughts at every moment...
Which is exactly the antithesis of what you said above.

What one could be doing is to harmonize or make congruent one's thoughts.
