Oh for god's sake it was a joke. I am sure you can stare at any cat you like and they will love it. It was however not meant to be serious. I am sure if you gain the trust of a cat implicitly you can by pass the usual rules just as you can bypass the usual social rules in any animal community, I wouldn't try it with a gorrilla though I did not know. Because them fellas although generally less agressive than cats or indeed humans could tear me limb from limb if they so wanted.

Although in reality there are no mammals that like being stared at for no reason, it's actually pretty well known that most if not all animals including humans will take that as a challenge, it's after all rude to stare, and people do get annoyed by it. But suffice to say that was just a joke and I really wish we could get back to the topic.

You seem to see what isn't there. I've seen you ranting about trolls ruining your threads, but I haven't seen any evidence of it. This site is practically devoid of trolls. I can only think of one. I never did work out what your fight with SOB was about. He seems about the most placid and easy-going person on here.

No one said anything about trolls, no one. This is something else, I am not welcome here, and hence I think I should leave. That's fine but people do have to get over themselves at some point, or they're just making my point about instinct for me. If I suggested this in a biology forum they'd kick my ass and leave me for dead. Humans have virtually no instincts. But I think I am bored with watching humans act like a a herd. Like I say these people are not trolls at all, and no one has trolled me at all on this forum. Look I have posted a lot of things on this forum and it seemed fun for a long while, now it's not fun any more so I choose to leave the forum. It has nothing to do with trolling it never did. But if you are not getting something out of a forum why stay? I am sure there will be parties in the streets and a fan fare when I leave. In fact that's no true no one will care, I would assume anyone cared what I thought and they probably didn't which is ok. But l am, out of here none the less.

When it stops being fun for whatever reason it's time to leave. No hard feelings of course it's been a great deal of fun at times, but if I have to listen to one more small minded idiot repeat one more small minded argument at me, without actually reading my argument, then I might not be so polite. So common snese of course dictates I leave before I have to be subjected to another idiot with a chip on their shoulder about me, who couldn't and wouldn't make an argument that actually applied to anything I has said.

Clearly that is for the best. And clearly I can best learn philosophy somewhere else, from people who actually indulge in it. Not sure I can find such a place. But hell let me wish everyone luck in their journey, pretty sure I will need a hell of a lot more than them, but everyone deserves a break.
