Well, then, you know that to call a baby a "fetus" is just another way of calling her "offspring of a human being." And it's not even really the fetus stage the abortion is intended to prevent; it's the child. That is what it is valued for, and that is what it does: it prevents a child from coming into the world by killing her. That's murder.
You must be losing sleep over all of these fetus murders. :(

Here's a topic I created with you in mind...

Fetus Invasion:

 You're not either.

If you cared more about the issue than what it represents for your ego, you would care to explore a broader view of truth and ramifications. But the limited distortions you peddle serve you too much, so you stick with those.

 So, what's the game, I wonder? Are we simply lobbing watermelons into the fortress of a wanna-be authority who sits perched on a crumbling wall in his underwear? And does he actually believe what he says, or is he focused on demonstrating the glory of his impenetrable fortress, no matter the cost?

If that's the case, he's more savvy than I thought, but also more wretchedly pathetic, knowing that by incorporating every fallacy from A to Z in each argument and counter argument he makes will catch more fish in an already diminishing and polluted pond. Attempting to be reasonable and rational in ascertaining what is factual or likely to be true is far less successful than its opposite when it comes to receiving attention. He has more reason to be aware of that than most others here.

My view is IC is the Donald Trump of the Philosophy Discussion forum; the only exception, his ability to express himself which Trump is dismal at. A cult brain like his of the religiously perverse becomes dangerous to any constitutional republic or democracy if a critical mass of such mental deformity gets to be influential societally, and by extension, politically.

If such succeeds, it will yield a future where truth is outcast as has been the case throughout most of the Christian era. In this day and age especially, such morbid mentalities, bluntly stated, are inimical to any viable future the human race may? still have access to.

Christopher Hitchens stated it precisely when he wrote Religion Poisons Everything. You can see its effect very clearly on those who have surrogated any residual brain power remaining after servicing necessities to a fixed regime of scriptural rules regarded as inviolable. The mass of humans submitting to those conditions belong, in my opinion, to a different species than what is meant or implied by the term, Homo Sapien.

The game is justification for the Death Cult of Abortion.

You do realize abortion is a Death Cult.

Only when unwanted pregnancies become a big personal problem, will the problem of unwanted pregnancy get solved.

Abortion doesn’t allow an unwanted pregnancy to become a big personal problem because it prevents a child from being born, so unwanted pregnancies will continue to profligate, and the big problem becomes just an easily eliminated inconvenience.

Abortion is legal.
Abortion is culturally accepted.
Abortion is the authority.

This begs the question …
Why the strident defense of abortion?

It’s already an established right, proudly exercised by activists.
Everyone now has a “choice,” to pretend that a pregnancy is as inconsequential as a watermelon growing in there.
Is the defense of abortion a need for moral justification, for the abortionists?
(Yes, of course it is).

Everyone wants to do what's right.
One way to achieve that is to change the definition of wrong, but that's kinda shady.
Shady achieves only a small view, and misses the Big Picture.

The Big Picture (BP) for mere mortals is good vs evil.

Obviously, some folks think religion is evil.
Obviously, some folks think religion is good.

Discussion thus ensues, and with it condemnations (no pun intended).
If aiming for the messenger and not the principle, then the small view is afoot.

How could you not agree?

Thank you for your thoughtful and insightful response. You reflect on many things I have wondered about.

Yes! Brilliantly described.
Dubious wrote: ↑Thu Sep 24, 2026 6:56 am ...A cult brain like his of the religiously perverse...
I find it baffling that anyone could be so perversely devoted to distortion... and self-righteously so! There's not even a hint of interest in considering beyond that.

Just as Trump is 'so intoxicated by his own words and there can be nothing else'. Anything else would apparently be a severe threat that might unravel more than he could bear. And some people, strangely, believe such shallow bravado.

For me, this has been the shocking revelation of the Trump era. Neither I nor anyone I know well were aware that such mentalities existed in significant numbers... let alone that they could take over the U.S.

And when Christians entered the spotlight to reveal their own rabid behavior and outrageous hypocrisies, I understood more about the toxic environment I had been raised in and the twisted lengths it could go to even in this current era. Even as a child I had known something was really off about it.
Dubious wrote: ↑Thu Sep 24, 2026 6:56 amChristopher Hitchens stated it precisely when he wrote Religion Poisons Everything.
I have come to see this. All of it has been built on and manipulated by distortions. It is as false as false gets. Despite any truly good and well-meaning people who might have gotten swept up in it, it is monstrous.
Dubious wrote: ↑Thu Sep 24, 2026 6:56 amThe mass of humans submitting to those conditions belong, in my opinion, to a different species than what is meant or implied by the term, Homo Sapien.
I have thought so too. This has been the clearest demonstration of significantly different beings sharing this planet.

Many who express outrage over terminating unborn fetuses would destroy non-Christian adults without a second thought. It makes absolutely no sense... and it is the most convincing display of how 'evil' works (through ignorance and deception) while glorifying itself as something other than what it is. I have come to believe (to some degree) that religion birthed 'evil' and serves as its hiding place. Admittedly, some on this forum add weight to this belief with their insane religious babbling as if mindlessly possessed. :)
