Re: Philosophy of Mind
Feeling is a state of tension that shuts out the outside world. Life is a presupposed outside world, already in existence and over against feelings, but in such a way feeling and world are connected appears mutually opposed while at the same time assimilated.
This assimilation process is three fold, theoretical, practical and last the unity of both into the many sensory approaches to the outside world.
Sentient creatures feel a relationship with the outside world. That outside world excites emotion. Thus feeling has consciousness, as self-consciousness free and justifiable.
The mechanical sphere of feeling for example is the same principle of air and water and their opposed moments of dissolution into neutrality. In light, likewise, or more precisely have light being determined in the two senses of sight and hearing.
Feeling is the collectiveness the harmony with self. We have a centre within self, simply a way of offering resistance to the outside world.
Feelings are bound together as in a flower bouquet; have the power of binding together senses. Look at sound, which is the process of bringing forth the realization of intrinsic inwardness. Whereas In sight, sees the same thing with two eyes, they make their sight of the object into one sight.
In sight reveals itself spatially and in hearing it is revealed temporally, ceases to be. In sight the field of vision is fixed on something else, it is the unity of direction, yet it is possible to see an object and at the same time give attention to your finger, you become aware of your finger without changing the course or direction of your eyes and see both objects at once.
Voice is pure self affirming itself as universal, expressing pain, desire, joy, contentment, Every animal suffering has a voice and declares its feeling.
That which is inward reveals a voice that utters feelings outwardly. An experienced musician hears also the second harmony of the fundamental and its double harmony. Thus notes are heard by the whole numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, a phenomenon of different sounds which are harmonic.
The ear requires through a series of notes that ascend and descend by equal intervals, combined with the harmonic triad yields a scale. These two principles are not in exact agreement.
Remarkable, the mind appears as self-conscious but is unconscious reflective mechanical sphere of feeling. Whatever we do and whatever happens brings the certainty of self. Talent is a content of feeling but does not go beyond that, if seeking talent to bring into actuality we must think away from feeling.
Talent too does not fall to the lot of those who are lucky enough. Whatever happens is not a chance accident. Through study and understanding is essential and it is inherent to drag our feet. Effort rests upon conviction, the actual carrying out.

Re: Philosophy of Mind
I have no time to look upon the affairs of people, or to be filled with any malice or envy against them. My mind is ever directed towards eternal, which I see does no injury to another. There are two sorts of knowledge, one which is visual and the other not visual. The visual is the changing and not visual is the unchanging. For which class may be said the body is it more visual and mind is more not visual to the eye.
According to Parmenides, nothing is the way of error in which the ignorant and double-minded mortals wander. Motion does not place existence in feeling. The utmost limit is perfection, which from its centre extends in all directions equally, for it can be neither larger nor smaller in one part or another.
Look at the idea space and time they are united in two determinations; one is abstract limitless unbounded space and the other continuous time. Space and time are before all visual things contain the first material difference. Space extends in every direction, this absolute spreading is not endowed with specific things, not connected to anything or condition.
Nothing can affect space even though materials things exist in space are in complete abstraction with space. Space is free has no intermediary. Thus, it is understood space is infinite, independent, all knowing, all-powerful, and which has created us and everything else.
Space has then three-dimensional visual but no relative point only spatial intrinsic lines, and lines passing over to the plane or the outermost boundary.

You can can only consider infinitude in a spatial sense, as quantity composed of ultimate indivisible units, or it must be divisible without end. If it is composed of indivisible units, these must have quality of something, and we are faced with the contradiction of a magnitude which cannot be divided. If it is divisible ad infinitum, we are faced with the contradiction of supposing that an infinite number of parts can be added up to make a merely finite sum.
A simple infinity of zeros would never total more than zero. The points in a line are so dense that no point is next to any other point. Between any two there is a third, all the way 'down.' The infinity of points in the line is much larger than any infinity.

The talent in sifting out all the questions that embrace science, because everything has reason. I consider this the requisite in philosophy the most important to me. Therefore, I have tried not to grapple with mere opinion.
Science is not merely looks at the movements of the stars and the things in heaven framed in the most perfect manner. If science were a mere representation then it would be a very tiresome study.
Thus, science there is a need, willingness for profound thought that exalts not superficial rhetoric. For anything to be is through struggle is a chain that keeps us in bondage but is where we succeed. Through purely unconditional sacrifice come rise out of the sea of change and lay hold there are two ruling principles of knowledge, the intellectual world, and the visible world.
Science the ultimate absolute truth is something thoroughly familiar passes out of opinion, goes above hypotheses Here science comes truth and all that is truth. Before seeing, hearing, or perceiving anything we must have knowledge or how could we refer to anything.

Ahh, but chaos is the direct opposite to all reasoning, and therein lies the direct opposite to our universe of logic and conditioning. A universe where rhetoric and reasoning do not exist.Barbara Brooks wrote:The talent in sifting out all the questions that embrace science, because everything has reason. Don't make lite of her self-actualization, she requires it. It matters not that she processed the mushrooms with the tomato sauce thus creating a blue pizza. I submit that the color is an illusion! Her thoughts, on the other hand, are not related to the circularity of the pizza, but rather the essence of this blue color, when all visible light has been removed.

Between self and reality is the ego, it is similar like the seed germinates when stimulated from the outside, the seed is drawn out of by sun the plant shoots up out into individuals climb out toward sunlight, vitality, the quality of scent, the splendor and depth of color and form is draw from sun power.
The ego is reflection of self as the plant but plants do not transcend to the stage of ego.
Ego is truly absolute idealism determines its place. Pure reflection of self is the indeterminate ego has an unlimited likeness of sunlight
Fear of reality may conceal behind ego the very truth makes it so difficult, nay impossible, to find any truth except that of which alone is vanity. This conceit understands how to belittle truth turns away from it back to self. The ego is a satisfaction, which must be left to self, for it flees reality and seeks only an isolated existence on its own account.
Know thy self is immediate conscious simply certainty is the ego whereas the phenomenon of knowledge is sheer intelligence its criterion is wisdom, insight, and understanding.
Knowledge embraces nothing less than the entire realm of mind inner working and weaving is reflection and ideal. We sentient creatures show outwardly our feelings, we sound our own accord, announce our spiritual being.
The unconscious mind, is merely immediate reflection into self the sphere of feeling the sphere of life.
Here is a contemplating relationship with reality. Where like plants conduct assimilates to Nature. The approach is a rational view of Nature the affair of the imagination, but scientific work. Today, science, blinded by a collection of fanciful ideas and consuming progression, finds an endless variety of ways of using nature for mere purpose and advancement. They wear Nature out, wear it down, and in short annihilate it. Many act on the absolute idealistic belief that nature is nothing and when they see Nature’s processes and transformations want to grasp its simple essence.

Knowledge embraces nothing less than the entire system of truth. The whole realm of truth and knowledge is set forth in reason.
All things become useful and advantageous only by good and everyone should pursue it and makes it their end of all actions.
Knowledge plays the inner principle role that carries out good. Grasp the truth the world of knowledge only makes its appearance at a time when the spirit of the people has worked out apathy and insensitiveness to the idea of good, which stands in contrast to indifference.
Knowledge belongs to its own time and it’s principle reigns for a certain time, what will be the consequences of the very hypothesis and paradoxes is what matters,
Little things elaborated how ridiculous! Nothing short of the most finished picture should satisfy the philosopher never lose sight that all things become useful and advantageous through good.

Theuth in the Egyptian city of Naucratis there was an old god whose name was Theuth; the bird Ibis which was sacred him was the inventor of the written language and many other , arithmetic and calculation and geometry and astronomy and draughts and dice, his greatest discovery was the use of the written word.
In the great city of Upper Egypt which the Hellenes called Thebes lived the king Thamus of of Egypt. Theuth came a calling to show the King his inventions and how all Egyptian people if allowed could benifit . When his language was shown Theuth rejected them said they would make Egyptian people not wise they will not have knowledge, only a semblance of knowledge. They will become hearers of many words but will have learned nothing;.
They may appear knowing something will know nothing are a tiresome company having only the appearance of wisdom
"O most ingenious Theuth,” King Thamus said, “the parent of an art is not always the best judge of the utility of his own inventions to those who use them. And in this instance, you who are the father of rhetoric are unawear of the dangers rhetoric can bring.”
“Words,” the king continued,”would create forgetfulness because the people will stop using knowledge that comes from the senses by truth,

Knowledge of what is one what is many we must have and what is equal Socrates believed we derive d knowledge from the senses perhaps maybe acquired before born, or at the instant of birth not only things or the greater or the lesser, but not just not knowledge of numbers but of beauty, goodness, justice, holiness, and all which we stamp with the name of essence.
When perceiving anything either by the help of sight or hearing, or some other senses there is no difficulty in this conceiving some like it that had been forgotten?
The power and capacity of every mind is knowledge just the same as eyes unable to turn from darkness to light without the body, so knowledge can only moved by the mind knowledge to exist.
Virtue and knowledge are the true blessings of life. Whether easy or not societies improve more and more as they take root. The argument in “The Republic “ Thrasymachus a witty rhetorician called Socrates imaginary order had not much resemblance to the actual facts. “ The wheel has come full circle, we do not begin again with a new period of human life; but we have passed from the best to the worst, and there we end,” said Thrasymachus.
Thrasymachus rhetoric Socrates looked coldly and believed there will not be rest from evil of them nor will good ever be realized until lovers of knowledge gain sovereign power.
The sweetness of knowledge embraces freethinking has ultimate absolute purpose; there can be no thing so remote that freethinking cannot reason. Knowledge raises a pang of emotion in the philosopher but, also, this is knowledge offered to everyone made plain.
There is an old saying that philosophers should not try to please people but good and noble God and if the way is long and circuitous, wonder not at this, for where the end is good may take longer.
If philosophy were only perception no one could discern better than the other in determining truth or falsehood, or to refute tedious opinions and folly perceptions.
Knowledge is not musing oracles giving out of some shrine having not one word of proof or demonstration offered just probability in matters of such importance. Any philosopher who argues from probabilities and likelihoods would not be worth an ace.
Philosophy necessary in all arts and sciences and intelligences simply draws towards the one and the many and relation to each other. And this necessity suffices to be a little matter of distinguishing one, two, and three --in a word, numbers, and calculations. What consequence in both one and many to one another.

Resilience is bound up with willpower. Willpower is not flexible, nor compressible, nor adaptable, resilience retreats into oneself because each body has its own particular place where it preserves self when you receive pressure from outside, that pressure causes an inner reaction, and feelings retreat in order to preserve self. Everyone has a particular self, and when influences outside cause an impact touches off feelings.
Few schools pursue inner reaction and it is understandable they are difficult, especially without a teacher. As matters stand today, students today are too conceited and see no gain in learning. Nevertheless, even though disregarded marred and useless philosophy is today by its natural charm emerges into light.

If curiousness makes a philosopher, you will find many will have the name but they only have a sense of philosophy not absolute philosophy and if when they are led to the true knowledge of philosophy, they will not pursue it. Why, because they would rather put the imitation in the place of the real. These curious minds are welcome to any knowledge, which they may have and we rejoice at them. But philosophy is magnificence of the mind spectator of all time and all existence surely temperate, just and gentle, and good memory. They are quick to learn - noble, gracious, the friend of truth, justice, courage, and temperance. To declare truth about matters of such high interest, to carry on the argument when I myself am only a uncertain inquirer and fear that I shall miss the truth where I have most need to be sure of my footing, and not be dragged down by mere opinion.

Goethe believed, Nature If you wanted to describe it and grasp its spirit or gather meaning, stand back leave it alone, adjust to it scientifically.Science is blinded by profit making finds endless varieties of ways of using Nature, wearing it down and in short annihilates it; Today science acts on the absolute belief that nature is but a mere transformation. Ignorant of Nature people think nature is this other and think we are other then
It cannot continue.
Insofar as truth thought self is infinite relation to self. Like the seed is simple, almost a point; even through a microscope it can scarcely be seen this simple self is pregnant with all the qualities of self. The same as the seed is contained the whole tree, its trunk, branches, leaves, its color, odor, taste, etc. is not yet being.
What is for self is one and the same. If the self were no longer self, then something else would be there, and a complete change would have taken place. Self is something maintained in the unity of the original self.
Feelings are inaccurate witnesses, whereas knowledge leads mind out of the sea of change into the highest well where things become useful and advantageous.
Courage is the saving grace about true and false opinion. Its a mighty agent, so under all circumstances preserves, and do not lose courage; it is more than any solvent for grief, terror, and longing. I myself believe that I if I knew what I was talking about: declaring truth on all these matters that are honored and loved among lovers of truth.
I think that to do an unintentional crime is a less bad than untruth. That is the risk, which I would rather run among foes than friends, and therefore I do well to have courage.
I am out of depth as the saying goes whether fallen into a little swimming pool or in mid-ocean no matter has to try and reach the shore.
The fault lies in telling falsehoods, which is most serious. It makes it impossible knowing and not knowing the face of a friend or the face of an enemy. For they cannot judge what is figurative and what is fact; and anything receive is to likely become indelible and unalterable in mind=; thus it should be where there is most important virtuous thinking.
