Brent Silby asks, is this the real life, or is this just fantasy?

This is my favourite pet metaphysic at present, as I remember thinking when I read Fredkin, "Now that does make sense of a lot of things." :)

At first glance of the preview I'm bothered straight away by this, "...we inhabit is an elaborate emulation of the real universe. Everything, including the people, animals, plants and bacteria are part of the simulation.", as an emulation is different from a simulation and assuming its an emulation of a 'real universe' is a big assumption. It could just be a simulation of a universe that 'they', 'it', think is unfeasible and they're just testing. :)

Douglas Adams Gods final message to his creation; "“We apologise for the inconvenience.”.

Yes we all know it was the dolphins who commissioned Slartybartfast to do the job.

PS
You are confusing logic with imagination.

You.
You have not presented a logical reason.

Well in future, try making a contrary argument within the thread.
