Greetings to all.
I am Ted, a quasi-intellectual who finds the deeper layer of things fascinating.
I am not a scholar of philosophy by any stretch of the imagination, although it is an element of the human condition that fascinates me.
In an effort to acquire more knowledge on the subject, I once purchased Bryan Magee's Confessions of a Philosopher. Unfortunately, I never got past the first chapters, due to his habit of overstating and stretching out his points of observation ad nauseam.
I usually end up researching (if ogling YouTube videos and lurking on various forums qualifies as 'research') a trinity of religion, philosophy and psychology - with use of language sprinkled on top... kinda like George Carlin, minus any notable skill or talent.
Religious topics are so far the ones with which I am most adept, although I hope to find education and enlightenment on philosophical issues in this very realm.
