Having very clearly stated my own position on the advent of Donald Trump, and my dissatisfaction with his disregard for important campaign promises, but having consistently maintained a position of ‘distance’ so that I could observe and understand what is really going on socially, economically and politically, the position I have, dearest Dubious, is a dozen times more useful and coherent than yours which is, as you presented, encapsulated in a strange and pathetic monologue by Paul Kruger. I think the very lowest “official” estimate is 6.5 million. But others put estimates higher. Bovino came on Tucker’s show with what seemed to me an impossibly high number. All I can do is ‘guess intuitively’ and suppose that it is likely a minimum of 15 million. But it is not impossible that it is more. However I know of no source for accurate information.

I’ve been fiddling with Meta’s AI by way of WhatsApp. I asked it “If I use the phrase “many many millions” what is the minimum that would be taken to mean? The answer is here:

Linguistically, it's an intensifier stacking.
