If an alien wanted to exterminate the human species in the most humane way possible, without violence or pain from injury to humans, then the alien would interfere with the integrity or soundness of the human mating routine so that humans stop mating and simply die out. And if it were the case that our current fertility problems were the doing of aliens trying to eliminate us, then I would have to say that those aliens are not bad creatures. It would be much worse if we suffered in war than simply becoming extinct. And any alien species that had the ability to manipulate our mating routine would surely defeat us in an up-front war. Therefore, I would like to say, "Thank you" to the aliens if it is the case that an alien is trying to make me extinct in the most humane way possible. Things could be much worse than that.
You win. I concede defeat. Just let me die in peace.

War is evil, and those who insist on waging it are thereby evil.

Re: Metaphysical Capitulation
I wish I could peacefully coexist with my rivals, but I can't peacefully coexist with something or someone who is an infinitely better competitor. The world is for the strong and healthy. I am not one of them. I wish I could say that I would not bring harm to another living being, but that is not the case. My reaction to fear and uncertainty is to eliminate the source of that fear or uncertainty. Therefore, I eliminate insects when they show up in my house because I don't want them to take over. It is better that I become extinct and leave the world to the merciful and more intelligent.
Thank you, and God speed to the living.

If I were to become too much of a problem for the living, then I think I should want the option of medically assisted suicide. But I don't want to choose medically assisted suicide; therefore, I am a problem for the living because I will not concede life to my betters. Therefore, I am a bad life form that may resort to violence if faced with danger from another living organism. I therefore deserve to die. It is a sin to harm others. The wages of sin are death.

Re: Metaphysical Capitulation
I need to learn how to peacefully coexist with other mortal living beings. But how can a being that nourishes itself at the expense of other living beings "peacefully coexist" with those other beings? Killing another living being is sin; sin is evil; therefore, killing another living being is evil.
Fear causes me to kill other living beings; fear of death from starvation or fear of being killed by another living being causes me to kill them. But who cannot fear venomous spiders? And who can live without nourishment from the consumption of other living beings, especially when they induce pleasure from their consumption?
It is impossible to be both good and happy. If I'm good, then I must not be happy, and if I am happy, I must not be good.
Starkist wants tuna that tastes good, not tuna with good taste. But tuna that is good is good tuna, so it is good to be consumed.
Let's just cut to the chase: life is hopeless.
