Trigonometry, false math

Post by Phil8659 »

If one wants a very clear, mathematical and visual demonstration of the fake math called trigonometry, I did that work up a long time ago. I later posted the demonstrations of it on the Archive in 2014.

In my teens, when I was first introduced to trig, I immediately knew it was not real math. It still puzzles me why people claim that science is well defined, but that definition is ignored and contradicted by the same people who claim it rules.

As I said, from the start of my study of Geometry, I went beyond the Pythagorean Theorem to demonstrate what is actually in Euclid, the demonstration which followed the Pythagorean Theorem in Euclid, i.e., the very next proposition, and I show its algebraic, and rational results.

It is why Trig is not mathematics, as it has traditionally been based on pages of tables, i.e., not presented as a formal math.

Now, the demonstrations are straightforward, yet no educational system, nor corporate supported institutions will admit the work, even when their own programs tell them it is true.

All of math is based on the standardization of a unit. Claiming that there are exceptions is not science nor math.
A parrot cannot make judgments.

As it is claimed that higher math depends on trigonometry, then by previous admissions, they are saying that higher math is bogus also.
If a person cannot agree with their own prior admissions, they simply can never be true to anything.

It seems this site is hanging badly today.

So, cannot delete its mistake of double posting.

It is not "based on tables" any more than logarithms based on tables.

The tables are approximations of the values of functions you would not care to evaluate just to use them. The practical use of trig is based on using tables that are giving the values of for various angles to sufficient accuracy for your purpose, but the underlying trig is sound mathematics. It's the same with logarithms.

Applied mathematics uses approximations, not formal math, Formal math is exact, and not even arithmetic starts with approximations. You have not studied many different authors in history have you?

Apparently you like the sound of your own voice instead of viewing the interactive examples I posted which are dynamic.
Secondly, Algebra is exact, while Trig is not, so it is not a higher math than algebra. As a function is well defined for both arithmetic and algebra, there is no such thing as a trig function as it actually relies on tables, instead of defined and exampled functions of either arithmetic or algebra. But, if you view the algebra I presented, backed up by geometry, you find that trig is full of false claims. The algebra is independent of any side of any triangle.
Claiming that the same algebraic function produces many different trig functions is in simple grammar, a self referential fallacy.

Veiw the examples, and argue with your math programs.
