US and Israel attack Iran
Re: US and Israel attack Iran
I expect I've missed a lot of discussion about this, perhaps in other threads, but I'll post this here.
I have the impression that having signed the surrender document, Trump is now backing away from the whole Iran fiasco and telling Vance to salvage whatever he can in the followup negotiations in Switzerland. Trump still can't resist opening his stupid mouth from time to time, and making random threats, but on the whole, it's down to Vance now.
I think this is probably an improvement. Although I have very little time for Vance, at least he MIGHT have some idea of how to negotiate, whereas Mister Art-of-the-Deal clearly has none. Of course, Vance has been dealt a very weak hand.
It is quite astonishing that a country as militarily powerful as America should put itself in a position where it can be thoroughly humiliated by a wobbly and unpopular regime such as that of Iran, while simultaneously renewing the regime's leadership and entrenching them more firmly in power. Trump always claimed to be a genius, and I suppose it does take a special kind of genius to screw up in such a comprehensive fashion.

Ah yes, more "necrotizing karma" headed towards America to hasten its collapse.
According to Google's AI Assistant...Never wonder why America is circling the drain.According to Iranian state media and local officials, the death toll from the strike on the Shajareh Tayyebeh girls' elementary school in Minab on February 28, 2026, has risen to 165 people....While the exact number of schoolgirls among the dead has not been independently verified, reports indicate the majority of victims were female students between the ages of 7 and 12.
_______
How about DRAWN AND QUARTERED?
At least that’s what one of those crazy, over-the-top TDSer’s (not us) might suggest, while probably picturing the Budweiser Clydesdales being involved.
I’m guessing that Jesus himself might approve of that particular method of dealing with his arch-nemesis --> President ANTICHRIST.
Indeed, one of those crazy TDSer’s (no one on this forum, of course) might even think of the vast amount of money that could be raised for charity if the drawing and quartering were done in the largest stadium on the planet and sold as a world-wide (live streaming) Pay-Per-View event.
Furthermore, another one of those hopelessly deranged T syndromers (again, no one that we know of) might think that perhaps all of the 18 and above adults on Earth...
(of which there is estimated to be approximately 5,810,000,000)
...might be willing to pay at least a hundred bucks* each to watch the Antichrist get what’s coming to him.
*(Indeed, T himself would be insulted if the ticket price was anything less than that, not to mention him expecting that the in-person stadium seating should fetch thousands of $s per unit.)
Let’s of course keep in mind that several million of President Antichrist’s staunch worshipers and minions would probably not buy a ticket, in which case, to be fair, I guess we should reduce that number down to 5,500,000,000.
Now,...
(and not counting the revenue from the in-person stadium seating and subsequent merch sales)
...if we multiply 5,500,000,000 Pay-Per-View tickets - times - $100.00...
(wait, let me take off my socks so that I can do my Jethro Bodine method of ciphering)
...good lord, man!!!...that’s more than HALF A TRILLION DOLLARS that can be spent on helping homeless people, or any number of other hate-motivated humanitarian projects.
Anyway, ^^^that’s^^^ probably what one of those pathologically deranged T haters (again, no one we know) might suggest in place of your measly “tar and feather - run him out of D.C.” pat on the wrist nonsense.
Hey, come to think of it,...
(and to make even more money for those hate-based humanitarian programs)
...one of those (not us) T haters might even suggest that after the Budweiser Clydesdales have done their thing in the stadium arena, the haters could then sell millions of (gold and silver) wrist bands with “WWTD” written on them to T's now rudderless minions,...
...all in order to take advantage of a sure-fire, money-making opportunity.
My goodness, you cannot get any more T than that, right?
But alas, who am I kidding?
There's still plenty more children for T and Net-n-yahoo to murder before this nightmare has concluded.

This has just got to stop.
The bully won't tolerate the little guy winning the dispute because it rewards obstinacy and shames the bully, and the little guy won't tolerate the bully winning because it rewards bullying. We have two regimes messing with each other, both of which are run by political quacks. Trump is a loose cannon, and the Iranian regime doesn't seem to have much maturity either. Can we just get rid of the psycho in the White House already and replace him with someone who will de-escalate this situation? Do we really want our country to be remembered as being this pathetic (assuming there will be anyone around in the long term to 'remember' anything)?

The Ayatollah regime initially declared its goal to be the destruction of the "Great Satan" - the United States.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Mon Jun 29, 2026 3:54 pm and the Iranian regime doesn't seem to have much maturity either.
In the Iranian parliament, this goal is ritually reaffirmed regularly by burning the American flag.
So what is their immaturity?
Haven't reached the goal yet.
And what is Trump’s fault?
Tries to prevent them from maturity.
But the funniest thing is that what was said above is not a comedy, but a campaign by those who are elected to power in the United States, to Congress.
Stay tuned for weather updates after these campaigns.
Re: US and Israel attack Iran
I think that the "Great Satan" itself (with the Antichrist finally in the seat of power) has been well on its way to achieving that goal (all on its own) for several decades now.Janoah wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2026 12:21 pmThe Ayatollah regime initially declared its goal to be the destruction of the "Great Satan" - the United States.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Mon Jun 29, 2026 3:54 pm and the Iranian regime doesn't seem to have much maturity either.
Yes.
And how dare they hold a grudge against foreign powers who literally overthrew their democratically elected government?
According to Google's AI Overview (emphasis mine)...
Me:
When did America first overthrow the democratically elected government in Iran?
AI Overview:
The United States and the United Kingdom first overthrew the democratically elected government of Iran on August 19, 1953.
The covert operation, known as Operation Ajax, toppled Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddeq:
Me:
- The Cause:
Mosaddeq had moved to nationalize Iran's oil industry, which had been exclusively controlled by the British (via the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company, later known as BP).
The Motive:
While the operation was officially justified to the public as a measure to stop the spread of communism, declassified files have since revealed the primary motivation was protecting Western oil interests.
The Operation:
The CIA and British intelligence (MI6) orchestrated the coup by utilizing bribery, orchestrated riots, and propaganda. It successfully removed Mosaddeq and solidified the authoritarian rule of the Shah, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi.
Were any Iranians killed during that overthrow?
AI Overview:
Yes, hundreds of Iranians were killed during the August 1953 coup.
Post-Coup Executions and Repression
The loss of Iranian lives continued well after the government fell, as the Shah solidified his absolute rule through political purges:
- Political Executions:
Several of Mosaddeq’s closest allies and cabinet members were executed. Notably, his Foreign Minister, Hossein Fatemi, was arrested, tortured, and executed by a firing squad.
Military and Dissident Purges:
Over a dozen pro-Mosaddeq military officers, student leaders, and political dissidents (particularly members of the left-wing Tudeh party, such as poet Morteza Keyvan) were systematically arrested and executed.
State Terror:
The coup led directly to the creation of SAVAK, Iran's notorious domestic security and intelligence service. Trained with the help of the CIA, SAVAK spent the next 26 years torturing, imprisoning, and killing thousands of Iranian political dissidents until the Shah was finally overthrown in the 1979 Iranian Revolution.
Yes!
And logically, by pre-emptively attacking and savagely murdering 120 little Iranian schoolgirls (ages 7 years old to 12 years old) by blowing them into tiny bits and pieces with Tomahawk missiles...
(along with thousands of other innocent men, women, and even younger children)
...again, logically, ^^^that^^^ is going to lessen the Iranian people's resolve to develop a nuclear weapon and then - justifiably - use it against the "Great Satan" who, again, overthrew their democratically elected government back in the 1950s in the "Great Satan's" non-ending effort to gain control over Iran's oil.

Yes, this is not a comedy, these are US voters.
It seems that American voters are a cocktail of
simple Islamists,
Islamists posing as socialists,
crazy Christians with the Antichrist in their heads,
just crazy, and crazy lives matter.
Crazy American voters support the ayatollah regime, and what proportion of Iran's population supports the ayatollah regime?
only about 10% to 15% of the Iranian population supports the ayatollah regime.

Well, you're going to have to work on making peace with Iran somehow. America is not going to fight the Iranians for you. If they attack you unprovoked, then maybe we'll help. But we're not going to do any more unprovoked attacks on Iran if this voter can help it.Janoah wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2026 2:10 pm

Re: US and Israel attack Iran
I don't "support" Iran. I don't think anyone on the left in the US "supports" Iran. However, we're not going to go around starting wars if I can help it. You'll have to ask Janoah what evidence he has that the US "supports" Iran. If it's because we're not in favor of starting an unprovoked war with Iran and would rather resolve issues through diplomacy, then I'm sorry that Janoah doesn't believe in solving differences diplomatically. That's his twisted mind at work, not mine.
Re: US and Israel attack Iran
"Support" could mean that sovereign countries ought not to be attacked on a whim.
Imagine the outrage if a country attempted regime change in the USA.
