If I may, I'd like to pose a few questions for your consideration regarding the experience of having no human contact.
I realize that in these modern times it is difficult to go even one day without some form of contact, especially with all of our electronic devices. In fact, it was for that very reason that the question came to mind. I think a philosophy forum like this is the perfect place to ask it.
There is a reason I consider those of us who choose to wear the philosopher's mantle to be especially suited to these questions. When I use the term we, I mean those who have discovered the value of thinking to ourselves. We understand the appeal of solitude and the frame of mind from which many philosophies have grown. Some of us have experienced periods of no human contact, not like monks, perhaps, but certainly far longer than modern life allows for the average person.

So, I'm curious where we are today.

Questions:
If you had no outside contact for one full day, not in person, by phone, text, email, or social media, how would you feel?
• Disappointed?
• Lonely?
• Depressed?
• Relieved?
• Elated?
• Or would it make little difference?

How many days do you think it would take before you reached one of those states?
What do you think would be the major influence to cause that change?

How far did you get? Did you see em make the bed mat or the water filter? And what was that plant he picked and added to the stew? Bro eats better in an underground hole then we do in a four star restaurant.

Now I've done dowel rod construction out of cut and barked trees and log cabins before but never busted out the arts 'n crafts like bro does. Did you see the natural well? How did dude know he'd hit a natural spring right there if he started digging?
