Could be senility, or maybe he's been a nutcase all along? Does he embarrass other members of the family whenever he talks?

Gets my vote.

Well, Mr Can hasn't said a lot about his family. He has mentioned his dad, who as I recall has passed away, and for your loss Mr Can, I am genuinely sorry. As for his Dutch wife, I feel sorry for her.

Didn't know his dad had passed. That sucks. I lost mine in 2023. We weren't very close, even though I lived with both of my parents, but he left the family in good shape, had his funeral arrangements and everything taken care of. He was a good father. You have my condolences, @IC.

is not true.
Actually, it is. And I provided you abundant evidence it is. But you clearly didn't bother to check any of the websites.

That's your choice. But it makes your objection empty, anyway.

I assume you meant to write "they."
Oh please, you gonna have a dig at a typo?
Not at all. I just didn't want to put any word in your mouth. I'm not being snarky.

You think you guys have it bad? I've got two parents that i can't stand, and i don't think they'll ever die. The old man's 82 and still going. Checked the obituaries last week. Nothing. He was a life-long jogger. One of those guys. Probably still jogging the way my luck is. I mean, I'm not tryna get an inheritance or any shady shit like that because I'm not in the will. I just want that asshole to die knowing i never said another word to em after 2008.

The cat lady's death, on the other hand, i am absolutely shady about. See, the sooner she dies, the sooner i can sell this house and enter into homelessness with at least five figures. I prefer to do this now when I might be able to enjoy the homelessness... not when it's a chore because you're old af and it's no fun anymore.

They got the cat lady on like seven different medications. She's got all that shit... COPD, type 2 diabetes, emphysema, some other things. She'd have been dead years ago if they hadn't turned her into a science experiment. When she slowly hobbles by on swollen ankles hunched over like a dungeon keeper, you hear what sounds like Darth Vader wearing a helmet with a clogged air filter. I don't know how she's still alive, frankly.

Still, i patiently wait. Any time i hear a bump, my ears perk up. Has she fallen over? Is this the one?!

Have I missed something? You have provided four YouTube links, that I am aware of; you will have to remind me of the rest of the abundance.

Well, I watched those four videos. The first is about California and therefore irrelevant to any debate about countries that provide universal healthcare. From the other three I can say, with some confidence, that you don't know what point you are trying to make. I am more confident that you cannot explain how they make that point, and I am absolutely certain it is not the point currently under scrutiny.
So, easy question first: What point are you trying to make by posting those videos?

I guess you did. For there is plenty of evidence for your own eyes, right there.

What you'll see is a lot of people who are not being served by your "universal health care". Some are too mentally ill to seek service. Some are addicted, and thus disinclined. Some are migrants, who may not even know or realize what should be available to them, or how to access it. But it doesn't matter: clearly, they're not being served at the present moment. And there are a lot of them. They'll all not just need rudimentary medical care, but long-term housing and medical therapies, for things like mental illness, addiction, tuberculosis, and various other diseases. Some will need surgery. Some will have congenital or even incurable conditions. Some will never NOT need additional medical services.

So my question to you is, where is the additional money going to come from?

A life without anyone to love or turn to (not even a parent) stinks. I'm sorry you have gone through that. If there were a benevolent God, one would think no one would have to go through what you are going through. But it sounds like a dungeon to me. Worse than my dungeon. We don't choose to be thrown into this world. If God had a heart, he'd give us something hopeful to hold onto. Instead, there are only things to feel miserable about.

You asked for evidence of unserved populations, significant populations. You could go out on the streets of London, or LA, or Toronto, and find your own. But now you've seen them anyway.

You know I'm right. You just don't like that I am.

Now, how much money will it take to serve these populations, and where will you get it from?

I guess the homeless and unserved will just have to die so that you can have better healthcare. Clearly, they are causing too much stress on the system and causing you too much inconvenience, long wait times, etc. We should just do away with universal healthcare. Is that essentially your point? Or are you complaining about healthcare when you should be "thankful" that you have any healthcare at all?
