Palestine Action, the crossing guard, and the sledgehammer

Should you think about your duty, or about the consequences of your actions? Or should you concentrate on becoming a good person?

Palestine Action, the crossing guard, and the sledgehammer

regarding Palestine Action and the police woman/sledgehammer issue...

If you're trying to stop a murder, a crossing guard should be pushed down if they try to stop you. If you're trying to stop a genocide, a police woman should be hit with a sledgehammer if she tries to stop you. It's fairly simple and completely proportionate.

ending genocide necessarily entails any means necessary. is pushing a crossing guard to stop a murder proportionately equivalent? does it matter if they were ignorant at either pole, or anywhere in-between?

That presents a false picture of what happened.
