For the third time, forth for anyone who has actually watched the video, the presenter says, in words that anyone who isn't a fuckìng idiot can understand:
"This video is not arguing that Americans are stupid..."
Them's fightin' words!!!

And that's because we Americans...

(or at least the approximate 77.3 million of us who voted for Donald Trump in the last election)

...are a special kind of stupid.

However, that being said, the rest of the American population,...

...the ones who do not understand why America is rotting from within due to the bad karma it is now reaping from its decades of imperialistic treachery,...

...aren't very bright either.

I didn't write her title for her. And it was you who said, or at least agreed with the summation, that "a very, very large portion of the population" lacks "the skills of critical thinking, self awareness and emotional intelligence." If that's not synonymous with "stupidity," then what is?
Well, not recognising a provocative title as patently clickbait is an example.
Immanuel Can wrote: Sun Jun 07, 2026 1:16 amIt's rubbish, of course. But it's on you and her. It has nothing to do with me. I didn't agree with any of it.
Not being able to recognise that you agree with at least some of the actual content of the video is another.

Well, the alternative was a manifestly senile Biden, mobilized by Jill and who knows who, for what purposes. This much, the Dems are now admitting, that Joe was senile, and they knew Joe was senile...even though, when he was in office, they swore up and down that he was "as sharp as ever."

I'm not saying Trump was the best they could do. But they were being handed Kamala, who had been pushed into office without a primary, and who really couldn't graduate from primary school, let alone a Democratic primary, and her running mate, the corrupt Elmer Fudd, as we now know him to be.

So it's not like they were being offered a choice. You can't call them "stupid" or say they were "acting stupid" when the Dems gave them no option but to vote for the only alternative to what the Dems were foisting on them. It's a two-party system.
Ah, I see what you did there. I said Trump's one true talent was for causing division and you came right back with "Yeah, but what about the Democrats?" That's very meta. :-)

No, I'm just pointing out that in a two party system, if you don't choose "door number 1," then there's no possibility but "door number 2." So the Dems have themselves to blame, if they don't like Trump: they could have chosen somebody competitive to run against him, and they didn't.

Well no, not being aware is just not being aware. An example of stupidity would be someone, who is aware of what a synonym is, asking whether something that is not a synonym for stupidity is synonymous with stupidity.
Another would be someone persistently attributing quotes and beliefs to people who have not expressed them. I, for example, have not expressed agreement with the above. What I have said is:
Will Bouwman wrote: Wed Jun 03, 2026 12:37 pmI think she makes a compelling case for her actual thesis.
Which, again I will remind you, is:
"What this video is arguing is that a system was deliberately built to prevent a very, very large portion of the population from developing and using the skills of critical thinking, self awareness and emotional intelligence..."
If you had the critical thinking skills you think you have, you would understand that it does not follow that I believe the 'system' has been successful.

The Democrats had their chance with Sanders (who, incidentally, you dismiss as just another "wealthy socialist"). Yes, the Democrats blew it. However, when the other door people choose clearly demonstrates that it's the worst option, then it's probably best to admit it. The fact that the Republicans let someone like Trump in the door so that he could be the only other "door" for people to choose doesn't say much good about the Republican party.

Sanders was too "socialist" for the red-white-and-blue-blooded "commie" haters. So real "muricans" fished up Trump. Brilliant! We're all in this because, according to people like you, "socialists" are all genocidal, autocratic demons that must be avoided at all costs. How is that turning out for us?

Opposite George does not mean opposite truth.

Then, Sanders was too commie for the Democrat Party. The Democrat Party replaced Sanders with Hillary Clinton, to run against republican Trump. Clinton lost the election.

The Republican Party wanted communist Sanders to be the Democrat candidate in that presidential election. At that time he would have lost in a general election.

Now, relative to current Democrat Party standards, Sanders is a conservative. The Democrat Party doesn't want him anymore. Too old, too conservative when young lions like the Nazi Platner of Maine and communist Mamdani of Uganda are finding their roar. Don't be surprised if "progressives," and all the big media, begin messaging that the old foreign-born exclusion to the presidency is outdated in this global village, and rich Ugandans, or Russians, should have the right to be president of the USA.

Now, relative to current Republican Party standards, Sanders is still a commie who honeymooned in mother Russia, a proponent of the old Soviet dream of destroying the US from within … the US as defined by the constitution.

As we near The Singularity, things change faster than a Democrat's tale.

Just correcting your factually incorrect statement.

Good lord, Gary. Do at least try and be a mature adult.

The honest path for you is to acknowledge the facts that corrected your misinformation, that correct the fantasies that fuel your conclusions, instead of playing silly little word games.

Anyway, at least the record was corrected for honest discussion.

Let's see if that happens.

When Gary is wrong, he reacts with beliefs and the good ol', IknowyouarebutwhatamI.
For Gary, reality must conform to belief.

Confirmation Bias is the Bedrock of TDS.

Anyway, enough of that.
