He understood at its very inception that the survival of a republic depends foremost on the intelligence and participation of its citizens; its Constitution, in effect, being only a blueprint which has no Divine Right status behind it beyond the acceptance of its citizens.

The current generation of Americans 239 years later, have made it questionable if the US, grounded as a republic, will remain as one…if the collective intelligence which created it is now to be subverted by the limitless corruption of government and the rank stupidity of its citizens who endorse it.

The constitution must be interpreted in light of the Declaration of Independence. The constitution as truth requires a relationship of intent, and The Declaration of Independence is that relationship, not the whims of a particular generation learning how to tie its shoes all over again, especially when velcro is so much easier.

At this point, the Trump administration is the one with most of the power and testing the limits of the Constitution more so than Democrats ever have. Democrats are the lesser of the two present evils. If we undermine the Democrats at this point, then, realistically, that is only going to give Trump that much more of a monopoly on power, as Republicans in Congress seem to be rubber-stamping his decisions, too afraid to challenge them. And Trump having that kind of authority doesn't appear to be a good thing, judging from his conduct. If there were a third alternative, then that would be great.

Trump can barely read the Constitution or the Declaration of Independence and has absolutely no interest in either. He would consider both as obstacles to his will and above such limitations which his actions have validated over & over again. Technically this makes him a traitor, thoroughly unfit for office which morally and intellectually he would be anyway.

He went RINO hunting for his agenda-deniers, and his endorsement bagged a few, the biggest being Senator Cornyn of Texas.

What does this mean?

It means that the long-serving senator paid the price for opposing Trump.
Trump is the leader of their political party.
Trump sees to it that Cornyn is primaried for the right to run on the party ticket.
Cornyn lost the primary, big time.
He lost so bad that it was embarrassing, and the reason he lost was because Trump simply endorsed his opponent.
Cornin had the money and the connections.
Trump had (has) the power of ... The Word.
