The "hog line" they're talking about is an awfully long way from the "house." It would be hard to say that the kind of little poke that was involved had significant impact on the result. I understand that the problem is that in that particular game, curling, there are no actual officials given powers to, or capable of making such a call. But that should be fixed. There ought to be officials who decide such things.
That would be my take on it.
