Why is this forum section locked?

[Philosophy Now]

The "Articles in Philosophy Now" forum section is locked because the function it used to serve is no longer viable. We had to move the Forum to a new web server in order to protect the Philosophy Now website from the bots that sometimes inundate the Forum. With the Forum on a separate web server, it can no longer have the integration necessary to function as a place for articles in Philosophy Now to be discussed. At least, it is not technically possible in the way that it was before. However, Forum members are welcome to discuss articles in Philosophy Now in other sections of the Forum.
