Simple Line of Reasoning.

All information is encoded in binary . As binary recursion can only produce a binary result, it can never produce a contradiction.
So, as the Bible intimates, and as Socrates stated, it produces a standard of judgment, called our Grammar Systems, which can only lead to human unity and a unity of purpose.

It then follows, since correct binary recursion defines literacy, and this state of unity does not exist on Earth yet, that mankind, as a whole, is stupid and illiterate.

Language is Universal (i.e. our binary) and Intelligible. Grammar is Particular ( as this binary produces four methods of binary recursion using symbol sets and their recursion) and Perceptible.
Without intelligence, mankind cannot discover factual grammar. Therefore, one can say that evolution is the search for intelligent life on a planet.
Who or what is making that search is actually a self referential question, as all information reside in the first principle parts of our Universal Binary.
Language, Grammar and Intelligence is not a product of mankind. These are given in the definition of Language, which existed as the Universe. We either discover and learn them, or we do not.
