The same is true of eugenics. There are mountains of science supporting it, if that's what is being sought. The problem is, what people did with that science, and in the name of that science. Very much a case of the cure being worse than the problem.
I'm not the one claiming that there is no such thing as 'eugenics', which I suppose would essentially just be selective breeding, like people do with dogs and sheep. I don't think anyone says there's no such thing. The two things have nothing in common. It's a truly bizarre 'comparison' to make.

Eugenics was a particularly stupid idea. Humans do their own 'selection'. Dogs haven't improved on wolves. They have just been bred for very specific tasks. A chihuaha wouldn't be much use in a wolf clan

I'm comparing the way both things are treated by the establishment and the scientific community, from small beginnings to massive government intervention, and, in some quarters at least, hysteria. So I suppose I'm comparing them as social phenomena. Eugenics is the solution to genetic pollution, as green policies are the solution to environmental pollution, or global warming, for short.

Eugenics also involved things like mass sterilisation, and eventually genocide, in its most extreme form.

I'm well aware of what the Nazis did but it still has nothing to do with global warming, no matter how much gaslighting you do.
'Eugenics' doesn't even have a clear definition. Is it 'eugenics' to prohibit close relatives from having children? I understand that there is talk in the UK of banning first cousin marriages because of the health problems caused by inbreeding.

You say it is a game?
Yes, George, it is a game.
Explain it to me.
Well the object is to use as many words as you can.
That is it?
Yes.
What about meaning?
Nope, that is not in the game.
What about using the wrong words?
Nope, not in the game.
It is like a drinking contest. The one who passes out first wins and the one who remains wins. It is a win, win game.
That is a stupid game!
George, they are only human!
I know, but I use to have higher hopes for them.

I suppose we'll find out soon enough, within the next decade, if the two movements continue their very uncanny tracking of each other a hundred years apart. If that's the case, expect fascist-style regimes springing up actively persecuting people who refuse to get behind the environmentalist agenda, and then even worse a few years after that.

But yes, I suppose there are similarities between the Nazi nutters and their 'eugenics' i.e. genocidal pseudoscience and the science-denying, self-serving idiots of the present.

Oh, it will not be that radical, the percentage of sterile minds is already overwhelming.

I sold my brains on eBay and got a 1943 pin up poster with the proceeds.

The claim that women were superior in grammar than males was an exploit to encourage young ladies to become secretaries.
No one could have foreseen California.

It's nice that your niece visits you in the asylum and that they even allow you to cook for yourself sometimes (under the watchful eyes of armed guards of course).

I would be nice yes, but I take care of my niece. Bi polar schizophrenia. No other family member would help her. She helps me learn how to put up with assholes like you. She has lived her over 20 years.

So it's genetic then. There's no scizophrenia or bi-polar anywhere in my family. Plenty of annoying eccentric loons though.

None in mine either. Her mother due to complications was autistic, her father was of oriental origins, whom this problem was in. My niece is half Chinese, Chinese citizen to be exact.
