Politics is a compound word of Poli-ticks, a voracious species of insect which resulted from cross-breading.
Poli-tics are generally found in human aggregates of mentally dysfunctional human beings who cannot even use the law of identity which means that they have particularly low intelligence and high sociopathic behavior.
Some people use the spelling of tic for the second part of conjunction which psychologies affirm to be a truer expression.
Other prefer the prefix poly-which may hit the mark, but once again, psychologists affirm that poli- to be correct.

WTF? This is a word derived from "affairs of a city" << polis >> Possibly they were meaning simply "a group of people larger than would all know each other personally" which might well be a proper distinction << sociological study of groups with a formal system of governance, if small enough that all know each other, indicates that in practice personal relationships trump the formal structure >>Phil8659 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 21, 2025 6:27 pm Politics is a compound word of Poli-ticks, a voracious species of insect which resulted from cross-breading.
