Try the two piece dark meat spicy chicken with red beans and rice as the side and I think you get a drink. You're not allergic to frying oil, right?
They don't have the same menu in the UK and USA.

I don't think you can get beans and rice in the UK. In fact, you can't get a lot of the sides that are available in the USA.

I hate red beans, I sub with regular pork and beans, spice up with tomato sauce.
Every one of my wives could not cook, never learnt, I on the other hand I made sure I knew how to do these basic things by watching my parents do them and being ready to lend a hand, I can cook quite well free hand. I get complements.
All Americans seem to eat are takeaways and general garbage--and it shows. How can someone have children and not be able to cook anything?
'Pork and beans with tomato sauce' sounds as if it barely qualifies as 'cooking'.

Well, unlike you, most of us put food in our mouth, generally seasoned to taste, putting it into our ears, or what it sounds like, never occurs to us. So, how do you eat using your ears?

My mother taught me how to cook rice perfectly every time. And every ingredient in a sauce, is considered part of cooking. Take a few cloves of garlic, slice and sauté it before adding it, black pepper, etc.

I season my rice, often with crushed dried red pepper. and put the seasoning in before cooking.

Now, to cook rice, one cup rice, two cups water, seasoning, put a lid on it, and put the stove to the lowest flame you can, and do not touch it, it will boil and steam itself in about 25min, do not take the lid off while cooking.

I like a lot of my rice picante, so I use crushed red pepper, or diced jalapeno's

When I cook for others I often make a chilli, with a tin of chopped tomatoes, kidney beans, or sometimes other types of beans, mushrooms, and then, for example, thin slices of ham torn up into shreds, or pieces of chicken, perhaps. I tried it with pilchards once but that didn't turn out very nice. I serve that with grated cheese (cheddar) and chunks of Stilton melting in it, and bread. I went through a phase of doing this most Fridays, inviting friends round, but then the shift patterns changed at work so such gatherings became far less common.

When it's just me, I tend to keep things simple, such as cheese on toast. It's far more convenient to go out for lunch when I'm at work, though.

OMG, you're right. How depressing. In addition, while actual fried chicken (you know, with like bones), is buried deep in the menu, it is technically available.

I did run into a copycat recipe for the red beans and rice which is greater than 90% accurate.

My niece boiled me a couple brats for lunch, I put them on Ital bread. Today I am swapping out the NVMe on my front room system, which means backing it up using Windows back up, and restoring it on the new NVMe.
Thing is, the deal showed the Samsung version of it, and I received the Western Digital version. Next is to find out, after I get every thing running again, if it really was new. Got a great price, now to see if I really got a great prince. The NVMe health on the system now is in the 68 percent or so range, which means when I am done I can store it in the bottom of the computer for emergencies.

Meanwhile, working on Project O, commonly called the Rectification of Trigonometry.

Went well, up and running, and for good measure, added a fan for it inside the case, which appears to be working really well.
