a) In the United States people ARE denied effective health care. That is NOT saying things like "emergency room care will be denied "

b) psychological healthcare and abortion? You see a connection? OK, in the HISTORY of treating mental illness you could find "impregnation followed by abortion" << hormonal shock treatment >> Abortion is "treatment" for unwanted/non-viable pregnancy. You think things like an ectopic pregnancy are mental illnesses?

c) Not ALL gender issues are "psychological. Would you at least acknowledge that some of the genetic caused ones require hormone therapy (EITHER way. stay looking female or transition) and possibly SOME surgery (or less drastic measures but still modification). Note these individuals would all have been classified female at birth (but are genetic males -- the problems will come later)

Legislators are seeking ways to make it too expensive to die with Obamacare. Can't live with it and the law says you can't live without it. It costs Obamacare money whether or not you're sick if you're a citizen, but being an illegal just costs looking over your shoulder.

Obama and Biden NOT n the left side of this rift among the Democrats. They were MAINSTREAM Dems (liberal pro capitalists) trying to fend off the demands of the "progressives" many of whom were/are "leftists". Obama Care the crumb thrown those demanding "single payer" for all.

IF vast numbers of Democrats "jump ship" that party will split. Remember. at the moment, there are the displaced traditional Republicans who didn't jump ship but were pushed overboard. The have on place to go (currently trying to organize under "Forward"). But if the Dems split, maybe they merge with the fiscally conservative Dems?.

In the last election, impossible because the "progressives" would have revolted. But in terms of pure power politics, Harris might have invited Liz Cheney to be her running mate on a "unity" platform. Agree?
