Alright then. Anyone with any military or weapons training, please step forward. The rest of you organize into groups of six. Gather any nonperishable food items and camping gear you may have and assemble in the hanger for instructions.
A couple life-saving tips before you're dismissed. Never look an alien directly in the eyes and never run. Stand your ground and behave as you would in the presence of a bear.

Re: True Story of the Day
What is the significance of the cities the National Guard is deployed in? Is there any? They're spread out reasonably well, not clustered.
If you knew aliens were comin' why would you send troops to those particular cities? A personal favor to governors pleading for help, or is the Don tryna protect something in those cities from the aliens?
Or are those the cities they'll invade first, and the Don is assisting them with military support? Bro, the Don can strike a deal with any living organism in the universe he's that good. And if he tariffs tf out of the aliens, they'll be forced to comply.

Day 7 of government shutdown with no end in sight. But why would you hurry to resolve the matter when aliens will be here in three weeks?
Of course, Don's inner circle and staff have been informed... and did you see how unsettled Bondi looked today at the hearing? She wasn't just perturbed because of the hearing. What you saw was, "wtf am i even doing in here being grilled by old men when the goddamn aliens are coming, and i need to get my family outta Wisconsin and down to the Washington defcon-5 bunker complex ASAP".

Re: True Story of the Day
What would an invasion scenario look like. Who tf knows, but it would start something like this and be a real pain in the ass for the invaders.
Think about the firepower of all the nuclear States on erf combined. Before an invader ship could even enter our atmosphere, it would face a barrage of nuclear missles that would turn those ships into space mulch unless they had some badass shields... and i doubt they do... not against a thermonuclear blast. That's like being punched by The Silver Surfer or Jean Grey when she went level 5. You can't just walk away from something like that.
If they got through this, they would be met with another wave of missles and a greeting party of fighter jets so thick it would darken the sky like a swarm of locusts. The oceans would be teaming with ships. When they landed in the major cities there would be herds of armored vehicles, tanks, armed soldiers and civilians, little old ladies swinging their purses like morning-stars. Everyone would be fighting back. It would be like Winston Churchill giving his never surrender speech all.over again. My god it would be glorious!
Their biggest problem: refueling their machines. Are they powered by batteries, directly solar powered or does a ship sit in the sky harvesting solar power for battery cells, do they go back to the ship to switch out batteries or are they delivered, do they build power stations on the ground that produce energy cells for the machines, etc.

Re: True Story of the Day
Think about it realistically. Unless we we're wiped out rather quickly, they would have to refuel. Our primary target would then be their fuel source, gentlemen. We would figure out what that was by observing the patterns of their movement; are there constant supply chains operating with a certain class of ship... these may be fuel transports, etc. Does that one big ugly one that looks like a flying propane tank that all the little ones keep flying to... does it carry fuel?
These are the questions our generals need answers to before anything else. Good luck, and I'll see you at the next briefing.

Imagine the new diseases they would introduce from the first 'handshake'.

What about the diseases you lot would introduce, upon so-called 'them'?accelafine wrote: ↑Wed Oct 08, 2025 11:50 pm Imagine the new diseases they would introduce from the first 'handshake'.
By the way some of 'you' human beings 'think' and/or 'react' 'you' will wipe 'them' out before 'they' were even given a chance to 'inter-act'.

Of course their leaders don't want peace. They have been making billions out of the conflict for a very long time. I would also be winning to bet that if an election were held tomorrow then Hamas would win by a landslide. The more corrupt, greedy and violent the better.

Ya know, in fact, atheism isn't a set of coherent arguments to prove x doesn't exist. Why not. Because crafting arguments to show that a thing x, that is nonsense, doesn't exist can only create more nonsense. Something that doesn't exist can't be in question in the first place... so, making positive claims like 'omnipotence isn't possible because x, y and z" is literally talking nonsense since there is no such thing as omnipotence to not exist. If there is no x, there is no reason why there wouldn't be x either. All in all atheism is an indictment of the burden of proof but because this thing x (god) is something that cannot be verified by observing anything of or in the world, any arguer against it's existence can't be sure exactly what it is that they're arguing against. In that case, you couldn't claim that omnibenevolence doesn't exist, or omnipotence, etc.... because wtf does that even mean?
So you can't deny that some set of nonsense x exists. Explain to me why there are no zigglnipters, please. I bet you can't do it.

If no, then that is why there are no 'zigglnipters'.
Whereas there is some thing that is omnipotent, like there is some thing that is omniscient.

If yes, then what does it say 'about me', exactly?
Let 'us' see if you can and will clarify just once, here.
