NOT just "through experience. That "Deans paradox" is simply error. He has (mistakebly) assumed that the sum of an infinite set of terms is infinite. Not necessarily so. It depends on how fast the terms are decreasing in size.
Thus 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/8 + 1/16 + ....... is finite
But 1/2 + 1/3 + 1/4 + 1/5 + ........ is not

So express the TIME to cross each of those divisions as a series and decide if that is an infinite sum or a finite sum. (it will be finite)

I just saw that there was this thread about a 'dean paradox' that seems to describe as if new something that is actually a couple of thousand years old and written by Zeno, not Dean.

I now realise who the Dean is question is though. It seems Australia's leading erotic poet Colonic Celery Dean has been at the drinks cabinet again, so the source of the weirdness is now obvious. Why he thinks his paradox isn't Zeno's I don't really care to investigate.

I also don't know why anybody else would open a thread to discuss the maddened ramblings of a drunken Australian schizo, but I suppose it isn't the first time that has happened. So you go right ahead and do whatever the hell it is that you are up to today. Have fun.
