Hello Everyone

Post by human »

My name is khalid .. I'm a 20 years old student from Egypt .. I'm so happy to be here as I'm very interested in Philosophy .. There is an Egyptian song which says " days go , days come and we will always be students in school of life " .. I find myself in these words as I experienced many things in my life and I'm sure there are still so much more things that I will experience and learn .

Peace & Love for everyone :)

What hopes do you have for the future after Mubarek left?
Do you think it will be a long road to democracy?

Personally I hope the changes taking place in the political regime change the Egyptian people themselves for better . I mean I wish everybody work harder in his field which is the only way to develop the country , specially the new generation who made this revolution and led all the Egyptian people for the change . Surely there are many challenges and problems facing the current government such as corruption , poverty , poor educational system , problems in medicine and other problems . And about the transition to democracy , I think it just will need time for people to understand , handle the responsibility of democracy and freedom . That every person has his own opinion , way of thinking and free to express his opinion whether he's a liberal , religious person , muslim , christian or even atheist . Anyway I'm very sure that everything in Egypt will be fine as long as we started to love our country again , the feeling that we hardly had before the revolution .
