That’s your interpretation, not mine, nice try though. Keep trying.Atla wrote: ↑Sat Jun 07, 2025 1:45 pmYeah, cause you're solipsistic.Fairy wrote: ↑Sat Jun 07, 2025 1:42 pmNo, that’s just where you are mistaken, solipsism doesn’t mean what you think it means. No person is solipsist silly boy, the meaning is exclusive in my mind. Stop trying to think you know my mind, you’ll never have any access to it. Solipsism only means what it means to my mind. And I don’t give a toss what it means to other minds, other minds can believe whatever they want, I simply don’t care and it’s none of my business anyway.

The edge of the universe isn't very relevant to everyday life here on Earth btw.
Re: Today’s Modern Men and Women Relationships
I agree. But you were the one who wanted to make solipsism a talking relevant thing here, not me, I had nothing to do with it. You brought the subject into this discussion, not me.Atla wrote: ↑Sat Jun 07, 2025 1:54 pmThe edge of the universe isn't very relevant to everyday life here on Earth btw.

So how did men like Harbal react when they realized that they don't truly exist according to you, they're only figments of your solipsistic mind? How did your husband not lose it sooner?Fairy wrote: ↑Sat Jun 07, 2025 1:57 pmI agree. Everyone exists. Infinity includes infinite one’s existing.Atla wrote: ↑Sat Jun 07, 2025 2:03 pmSo how did men like Harbal react when they realized that they don't truly exist according to you, they're only figments of your solipsistic mind? How did your husband not lose it sooner?

My husband didn’t lose. He’s still around, he left me for another woman who then left him.
I would never have left my husband the father of my children. He’s alone now, last I heard.

And the good thing about being dumped by people is that you get the chance to taste some fresh meat
hmm, yummy!
Life really is like a box of chocolates you never know what you gonna get next. Chocolate or Fresh meat. The gift that just keeps on giving.
Whoopie Doooo!

I get what you're trying to say and why. However, it bears acknowledging that humans intetact in numerous, numerous ways. From healthy to toxic and everything in between. True, over time there are "trends" that represent "change". But in reality this change represents 1) what's in the media and 2) consistent, but ultimately statistically small changes in the popularity of various categories. Thus when someone declares that NOW folks are doing thus and such, what that MEANS is that there is a trend towards this, but many if not most of the audience doesn't actually do things in that particular way.Fairy wrote: ↑Fri Jun 06, 2025 10:23 am I don’t think they have a hope in hell of ever making it work out successfully. Not like they did back in the olden more traditional days of when couple’s were more than happy and willing to tie the knot that would enslave them both to each other in marriage till death do they part.
Women of today will never commit themselves to being the traditional muzzled handmaid likened to a Stepford wife to a man.
Romantic relationships between men and women seem to be dead and buried and forever doomed to ever show up in the here and now, or in the future.
Do men really prefer the muzzled handmaid woman to be their life partners?
Do men and women secretly hate each other, but just use each other for sex anyway? Is modern marriage becoming likened to a kind of Stockholm syndrome for weak people afraid to be alone and so rather than be alone they’d just settle for the trade off game that they believe is love and marriage?
Do human beings secretly hate each other? Maybe there’s some truth in this distain between the two opposite sexes, because humans do not have to worry about being prey to a predator like most of the animal kingdom experience, except when the predator is another human being of course.

It is a problem for humanity catching up with the fast, ever-changing environmental context, and adaptation takes biological time, all the while dragging our evolutionary baggage along with us. Romantic fantasy, which most people buy, is problematic, and tops up the chaos.

I made a joke the other day with co-workers and a young girl laughed hysterically and agreed when I said:
"Why do women fantasize a man dying for them as romantic? Why does when a woman love a man she always fantasize about him dying?"
