good thing it wasn't in Texas... would have been a chainsaw instead of an axe...

Although a chainsaw doesn't require a carry permit, it is tough to holster.

.

The Independent
Chief Superintendent Nicola Russell, who is responsible for Police Scotland’s Tayside division, issued a statement on Wednesday.

She said: “We are aware of misinformation being shared on social media in relation to an incident where a Bulgarian couple were approached by youths in St Ann Lane, Dundee, on Saturday 23 August 2025.

“A 12-year-old girl has been charged with being in possession of offensive weapons. She will be referred to the relevant authorities and our inquiries are ongoing.

“We would like to thank the local community for their help with our investigation and would urge the public not to share misinformation about this incident or speculate on the circumstances.”

It comes after a row between politicians and police over revealing suspects’ ethnicity.

Yvette Cooper, the home secretary, said police should routinely reveal the nationality and asylum status of criminal suspects. She said she is working with the College of Policing to develop new guidance to promote transparency.
It still begs the question though.. why are adults -regardless of ethnicity- talking to, filming, and harassing underage kids?

For the next few years, that girl will no doubt be at the tender mercies of the social services, or "relevant authorities" as the police rather ominously refer to them. It's worth noting, of course, that a large percentage of the victims of the rape gangs were in the care of the social services. Either way, I really, really hope that she knows what a worldwide sensation she has instigated. She certainly will one day, anyway.

I've heard nothing back from the reporter yet, by the way.

Apparently the man and his sister have been arrested for assault. Still not sure though. I never trust screenshots. I don't know why people don't post proper links.

Even the BBC have reported it, no doubt through gritted teeth.

I wonder if the huge, worldwide public outcry forced the police to do something.

I wonder if they are still charging the girl. I don't even know why the UK has a police force any more. They seem to spend most of their time dancing around waving rainbows and arresting people for 'naughty' tweets. They used 5 armed police to arrest Graham Lineham for a tweet which had been mass reported by a group of 'transactivists' (grubby men in frocks).

It seems that they're still charging her. She's been referred to the "Scottish Children's Reporter Administration and the Procurator Fiscal" according to the BBC article, which sounds all very official and intimidating, though I'm not exactly sure how it works in Scotland. Either way, happily, the fundraiser is now on £91,000 and still going up fast.

It's very worrying, and indeed frightening, how things are going with the police, and the law, here. I've no doubt that if I'm ever harassed by Muslims again I would have a very hard time getting the authorities to do anything.

Now people are saying it's the girl's PARENTS who are the man and woman allegedly arrested. Actually that sounds about right, going by the clowns who pass as a police force over there.

I'm not surprised that people are saying that, but it's not the case. This news was announced by people in touch with the family a few hours before the police announced it. The man arrested is named Fatos Ali Dumana, aged 21.
