A simple earworm melody begins around 1:00.

Music, like reality and life itself, is energy, frequencies, and vibrations, while stirring human biological rhythms and the soul.

sad guitar doodle (do not listen to)

Melody dynamics. Let's look at 'em. That jump to that high chord (don't know what it is); it breaks out of the brooding hopelessness as if this will be finally resolved, but it doesn't, does it? There's a weird lingering offness about it (may be a diminished thing) that ascends the lower state but holds teetering on another uncertain ledge, as it were. Ultimately, there's is no conclusion in this melody, and we are left without any consolation.

It seems to me that the playing just eventually fades out, like a human being on his deathbed. Interesting "doodle". I sort of enjoyed it.

The Octopus reacts. It was those high-hat chokes. You see em? Choking (muting) the hats is unheard of, mates. He pauses it with his thumb killing the notes (it sounds and looks like).

The wizard 66Samus. A superb demonstration. One guy, one hour, and this is better than songs that take garage bands a week to write.

Vinnie recalls his audition. Frank's grilling the shit out of him and Vinnie fights back. Frank puts The Black Page in front of him so he looks away and plays it from memory lol...

How do you guys feel about the issue of AI generated music?

During our little sabbatical away from the PN forum, I discovered SUNO AI.

SUNO AI is a music generating site that contains software that can turn your demo songs into professional sounding ones by using AI (artificial intelligence) to redo your music and use pro-sounding (AI generated) voices to sing the lyrics you provide.

So, to make a long story short, back in December, I uploaded an original demo song that I created in my home recording system (on my pre-DAW, Alesis 24 track digital recorder) several years ago, and the following is what SUNO did with it.

It's my little "let there be peace" protest anthem, titled...

"We Want Love to Rule the World"

It has a few technical issues, but I think SUNO did a pretty good job with the demo I submitted.

I need some clicks on it, so check it out (even if it's just out of pity. :P)

Here's the link to it on SUNO...

I'm stunned. I don't know whether to congratulate you or weep for the future of live music, but in any case that is an outstanding result.

Welcome back, also.
