Hey all,
Thank you for having me.
I'm a male in his mid 40s in London.
My strongest opinions in philosophy are firstly that free will is an illusion, and secondly that euthanasia should be made legal everywhere, at the very least for anyone suffering unbearably and intractably. Also I'm an atheist of sorts.
I don't think my mind can be moved on those three points but I look forward to have discussions about anything philosophy with you all, even if that means my stubborn self challenging his firmer beliefs!
I don't have any qualifications in psychology but many topics interest me. I have a more technical background in electronics and computer science, so make of that what you will! I guess it means I have an appreciation for problems that both can and can't be solved with binary logic, since I find both beautiful in their own way.
Cheers
Jodes

Welcome to the bear garden, Jodes! If you are going to find anything of value here the first thing you need to do is to work out which of us not to take seriously and which of us to pay no attention to at all. Good luck with that!Jodes wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 5:13 am Hey all,
