Aristotle on Definition

Post by Phil8659 »

Back in 2008, I posted a work called "Aristotle on Definition".
The bulk of it is Aristotle's own words.

Apparently, a lot of people like to mythicize Aristotle so I think I will first audio-book it, then I will illustrate it to show how to understand what he is saying.

But, who claims that your own personal and individual interpretation is even close to what 'that one' was actually intending and meaning?

For one who can not even show how to understand what 'you' are saying it seems rather foolish to claim that you can show how to understand what one other human being is saying.

That sounds like a fantastic project! Bringing Aristotle’s original words to life through an audiobook and illustrations will definitely help demystify his ideas and make them more accessible. I’m excited to see how you visualize his concepts
For many of the diagrams, there are plenty who have done some, Heath did a whole work on it, but I intend to use the Geometry I developed, which is available on the Internet Archive, Phil8659. One can actually draw equations with it.

It will take a while, because I am using the so called Oxford, with updates, which means I had to start from scratch with OCR, etc.
And, my workout takes, generally, till noon to finish.

So, by definition a genius is a person who points out the obvious, or it is what they understand. What are you pointing out for us to understand, then why do we not understand the concept? Having, being taught by Phds’ what is it that I do not understand? Is your approach so liberal that you cannot get a copy right © from a publishing company? Or are you just an eccentric person with an opinion? I know nothing about you, and am not about to click on a link that you can just post here on this website. Even being an upset student who cannot get their work published because Phds’ do agree? Post your work here for us to read and interpret it for us on this message board, please? Thank-you for your time and opinion.
