Absolute Solipsism
Absolute Solipsism
“Nothing has happened - to be able to understand this is very fortunate. If you can understand that nothing has happened, you have indeed been blessed with inner vision. Only you exist, you and you alone. Truly, you are contained in everything. Again, you are indeed That Itself. In all infinity is He and no other - I alone am.”
~ Anandamayi Ma
Reality is beyond speech and thought.
Only that which is being expressed in words is being said.
But what cannot be put into language is indeed That Which Is.

The statement "that which is" just put everything into words....Fairy wrote: ↑Mon Aug 04, 2025 7:19 am “Nothing has happened - to be able to understand this is very fortunate. No word can define what is, or, every word defines what is. In this conception. Beyond the dream story, nothing is happening.Eodnhoj7 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 05, 2025 5:22 pmThe statement "that which is" just put everything into words....Fairy wrote: ↑Mon Aug 04, 2025 7:19 am “Nothing has happened - to be able to understand this is very fortunate. “ One who understands the truth of not-self is no longer entangled in the idea of ‘I’ and ‘mine’.”
Re: Absolute Solipsism
You are observing those ideas...thus are entangled by them. Those who claim to "think outside the box" are already in the box by nature of seeing a box.
If non-dualism is true, and non-dualism is a negation of dualism, it requires a dualism to negate in one respect while also resulting in the dualism of dualism/non-dualism.

There’s no such thing as nonduality because nonduality is not a thing.Eodnhoj7 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 8:53 amYou are observing those ideas...thus are entangled by them. Those who claim to "think outside the box" are already in the box by nature of seeing a box.

Paradox.

Yes, it’s addressed to an imagined other.mickthinks wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 10:46 amWho is that addressed to? One must imagine one is talking to one’s non-self.
Re: Absolute Solipsism
Non duality is a distinction, a distinction is a thing.Fairy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 11:10 amThere’s no such thing as nonduality because nonduality is not a thing.Eodnhoj7 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 8:53 amYou are observing those ideas...thus are entangled by them. Re: Absolute Solipsism
There are no others except imagined others. The pretence is not giving up, it’s keeping the duality real.mickthinks wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 5:01 pmAnd I think that demonstrates an incoherent view. To be no longer entangled in the idea of ‘I’ and ‘mine’ is to have given up the idea of others, isn’t it?
Re: Absolute Solipsism
A distinction is both thing and not thing. Both, yet neither.Eodnhoj7 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 11:27 amNon duality is a distinction, a distinction is a thing.Fairy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 11:10 amThere’s no such thing as nonduality because nonduality is not a thing.Eodnhoj7 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 8:53 am
