Reaching a goal

Post by Phil8659 »

I set myself a goal of doing a 3 mile walk in an hour.
I have to do it daily because of my condition, edema.
I achieved that goal yesterday, and beat it today. As the walk is actually a bit over 3 miles, I did it in an hour and 2 min. The one thing I do not like about the walk is my t-shirt, it gets wet as I always do the walk in a hoody, free sauna.

Good for you! What's been the effect on your edema?

It is visibly going away. I discovered Aloe Vera pure and Avocado skin care, great stuff.

It would probably be gone by now, because I was doing 5 miles a day, but there was a water main break and the city posted, on its web site not to drink the water, as if everyone goes to the web to check if it is okay to drink the water, anyway, what happened is my niece has regular blood test, and after the break, she suddenly showed up with Hep D, I think it was, but I got an infection in my lymph system near my groin and it swelled up so large, it ripped my groin muscles and gave me a hernia. So, I spent a year holding my guts in, but then I had sink repairs to do, and it tied me up doing all the twisting on my back to disconnect the faucets, and I had to have the hernia op. So, during that year, I could not do my workouts. and now that my op is all healed up, things are going good again. I am feeling great. My testosterone levels have gone up higher than I would like, but what the hell.

That's quite a convoluted path. Hep D isn't waterbourne, that's Hep A. Just sayin.

But happy you're getting better. Keep it up.

Well, think that is convoluted. I had an allergic reaction to gym gloves I bought a few years ago. It turns out, that a quick tanning method with some chemical cased some people to have a severe allergic reaction which was very hard to cure. Most countries banned it, but not the U.S. at the time. It took months to get over it, meanwhile skin was peeling off my hands, and the reaction spread to my feet. my hands looked like they were 120 years old for months. I had a rash all up my arms. It took a long time to work it all out of my system.
I put the gloves in a plastic bag and disposed of them. I do not know if they ever found a cure for it, but it takes a long time for you body to get rid of it all.
