Ok. So perhaps it's just that you simply don't care. Got it.
Don't care about what?
Anyone but yourself? FFS. This is tedious. Go away.
What makes you think I don't "care" about anyone but myself? Do you "care" about others in some way that I don't?

Do you? I'm not continuing with your favourite subject i.e. you. Nice try.

Seeing others suffer makes me depressed as hell. Does that count as me "caring"?

"prom's favourite topics of conversation of himself"

Alright, here you go, Ve... Accelefine. Here's an example.

https://youtube.com/shorts/4Q99MPm3lTE

Now, here, the only thing I'm missing are the double bass drum notes because too much is happening, and my brain can't handle it all. But that's it, bro. Hats and snare are right (that's phil Collins, btw).

Another point to be made. The Electrolux 2000 can't handle a song like this, and it'll start smoking. Snare and hats are overloaded (can't read all the ghost notes). Like when Rhodes shorted out his amp when he was soloing. Listen to the pitch inconsistency and how obnoxious those hats sound. They can't handle it. Metal hats, on the other hand...

Why'ont cha'll buy me an acoustic kit? I'll rent a bin and put the sonofabitch in it if you do. Noise ordinance my ass.

"Why hadn't you played for nearly 20 years?"

The short answer is moving around too much and not being able to a) carry one around and b) set one up somewhere. Drums suck because they're so big. You can't just whip one out like a guitar or a sax.

I noticed how you were strumming the intro on your sticks before playing...

good way to find the groove

That's understandable.

I've never had any particular musical talent myself, sadly.
