OR, it could be that human intelligence IS the limit, rather like the speed of light, and the best AI can ever do is be a superefficient learner and distributor of that which humans have already learnt and created.

Poor man.
Such is the suchness.

Maybe your statement is not actually true, you could always PM him to find out.

Until you find out the actual truth of that statement, you’re just posing as an other ass U me. 🤣

Humans are not intelligent.

Intelligent is just a mental construction, it’s an A.I. an artificial illusory thought.

You are too thick to know what I mean so spare me your annoying gibberish excrement. You really don't have to externalise every idiotic thought that comes into your brick of a head.

You create a thread topic on a subject. Then get all pissy and offended by some of the responses.

😂 You don’t have to externalise every thought that comes into your head. But then gibberish being the suchness that it is will always out itself. Like wanting to punch the mirror because you don’t like what it is reflecting back at you. 😳

They were all obvious. He's a musical guy so he's obviously just pretending to find it difficult.

I can assume what you meant. But I can never know for sure, for certain. The mind being dual by it’s very nature demands what is meant could also appear to be what is not meant.

"There's an Agent Smith in all of us" is not a direct quote from the Matrix movies, but rather a popular interpretation of Agent Smith's character and his role in the films. His character evolves to represent the potential for control and conformity, even within a system designed to be liberating.

🍿 🍿 Enjoy the movie of I

Imagine a future where AI is everywhere and in everything and there is an agent Smith in the internet and it can go into any device and change things and it’s hyper intelligent and ultra fast.

Did I just make that up? 🤷‍♀️🤫

Practice via cybernetics will allow the young AI prodigy to unblock its musical genius that now, in its elementary form, is being held back from its full potential by human limitations.

I don't think you quite understand what AI with a vastly superior intelligence to humans will mean  It's not about humans 'entrusting' AI to do anything. AI will be able to do what it wants. It could wipe us out in seconds if it felt like it. We wouldn't even know what hit us.
Uummm... Ok. What exactly would the mechanism that a superior intelligence which is entrusted to nothing use to wipe us out in seconds?
Can't you think for yourself? A massive emerging intelligence that is already inserted into our everyday lives? Can take control of the internet? Can take control of industry? Can create new viruses? Has control of nanotechnology?
Thanks for proving my point, for providing handwringing in the absence of a coherent mechanism.

This is true.

Present AI is, by definition, not intelligent. It is reliant upon statistical modelling, without inherent understanding.

People assume that “it’s just a question of computational power”, but this is wrong. That computational power has to be correctly directed.

Humans somehow balance models with actual understanding. We have no idea how to implement understanding, or to recreate the balancing act artificially.

No hand wringing. That would be someone like Gary. Just stating facts. Plus, 'superintelligence' is unpredictable by definition. It's going to be able to think of things that no human every could. Duh!
