The reasons why I despise Christianity

Post by godelian »

There are many reasons why I despise Christianity.

The number one reason, that tops the list, is the complete scam called "Christian marriage".

It is not because I have sex with a woman, that I intend to give her half my assets.

She does something for me and I am certainly willing to reciprocate and do something for her, but there are limits to the madness. In Christianity, there clearly aren't.

But then again, what else did you expect from a religion that worships the fake divinity of a holy hominid and his single mother?

Woof woof, ignore the noise, and listen to the silence that speaks the truth.

Truth doesn’t need or require otherness. Truth is wholly complete wholesome and perfection.

I and the creator are one. The only marriage worth living for.

Reason doesn't come in to it.

Folks who find themselves (by circumstances) hanging out with low wealth individuals, tend to view others as "after" their assets. Folks who interact with those of similar wealth don't automatically view the universe that way.

I often prefer low wealth individuals. At least, there is something that we can transactionally exchange to keep things going. Money has little value if the other side actually does not need it. Concerning people with similar wealth, well, fine, but where is the complementarity? It are the underlying transactions that keep the relationship afloat. Just getting along, is usually not enough.

For example, try hiring someone for a wage, who doesn't even need that wage, and tell me how it went.

Alas, you don't get to define "need" for anyone but yourself.

Try to tell Elon he doesn't "need" for Tesla stock prices to recover.

Reason has nothing to do with despite of religion. Reason says that is about deprivation of education.

It's also as good as it gets. The humanism in it, from the beginning, was the best there could be at the time, and deconstructed out, isolated, purified from, of, misanthropic damnationism, is in the ball park of the reconstructed, truly universally good.

It's the non sequitor that is troubling me. Why are you connecting the divorce laws of some states to Christianity? Where in Christian doctrine are you seeing any laws about property rights in divorce? For much of Christian history there wasn't divorce and so no reason for laws regarding the rights of the divorcing parties.

In other words, I could make sense of your objections to laws about divorce in Judaism, Islam, or any other religion that had laws about divorce. But not Christianity, because it doesn't. Even today, not all branches of Christianity recognize divirce.
