I've yet to try Grok. That JAWS software you've been using to navigate websites must have to move with the times and implement some AI functionality...

I haven't been back testing that, it was very strange experience tho!

I was using ChatGPT to assist in converting my novel, Alpha Two, to a screenplay but then realised Microsoft copilot seemed to do a better job. I pasted segments at a time, then edit in Word. It's assisting in me sticking to industry standard and really is speeding up the conversion rather than me typing everything fresh.

I was hoping I could paste or upload an entire chapter and hey presto! - the screenplay would be generated, but it's not up to it.

The latest versions of JAWS do indeed have an AI image description option, but I haven't tried it though.

I asked Grok to check a novel I wrote for typos and grammar, and to improve the general style, but the suggestions it came out with sounded really bland and uninspired, so I didn't bother with them, in the end.

Then you’re Spock.

I can't believe he's only about 35 there. He looks about 50. Some people are like that. Look old when they are young, but then stay the same for the rest of their life  There are a few like that. John Hurt--always looked old and sick. Morgan Freeman--he's always looked old but still looks good.

Craggy lads.

When he wasn’t Spock, Nimoy laughed and smiled a lot for the camera.
Even so, he was famous for being someone else.
Interesting situation, and quite logical.

Imagine telling Shatner to not be melodramatic, or to be more melodramatic, if you dare.

I think Nimoy's voice is a lot sexier than Shatner's, especially when he's ruminating on on one of my favourite subjects, namely, the profound insights into human nature to be found in the works of Tolkien.

Shatner's speaking voice has changed from his younger days but they both had beautiful speaking voices (horrendous singing voices ) Beautiful male speaking voices seem to be extinct. The new 'Kirk', Chris Pine, has a horrible high pitched voice. I can't think of a younger male actor with a nice voice. They all seem to have harsh, high-pitched, unmanly voices.
Richard Burton had a voice to die for.

One of my favourites was Christopher Lee, and in the Wicker Man he proved he could sing, too. I could listen to him all day, given half a chance. Perhaps Alan Rickman was the last of the greats.

I've often wondered if all these great voices of the past were due to the fact that everyone used to smoke in the old days.

Yes, I was thinking that too. Smoking and drinking  Now they are all vegans who only do 'healthy' cocaine.

Really? To these ears he can’t shake the Spock. Even though he’s singing he sounds a bit like Shatner imitating the young director’s “how-to” recital.

Didn't he also veer into the poetry lane?

Voices ...

Cosby was canceled out because of his dastardly deeds, but he did a pretty good job with this Barry White imitation, likely when he was being a bad man.
