Do all citizens of the US stand for those things or mostly those in leadership capacities?
Collectively yes.

Obviously if you people allow the ones you choose to so-call lead you, to lead you into causing and creating wars, like the one in "ukraine" in the days this is being written for example, then you are, collectively, 'standing for' such greedy and selfish ways.

Whilst you keep allowing 'those ways' to occur and happen, then you are 'standing for' 'those ways'.
I see. So paying 'lipservice' to ending the Ukraine war diplomatically isn't enough. What do you think average Americans should do that would stop the Ukraine war?
Gary, if I may intervene in your exchange with Age, I'd like to suggest ordinary Americans can engage with ordinary Russians in the universal popular culture of international sports , international popular music , international religious events, and also international high culture and science .

Politicians are not doing well . Grass roots feelings of companionship would make at least a small difference.

Very much so, obviously.

What even is a so-called "average american"?

And, what the citizens of that parcel of land 'should' have done is not 'have done' what caused, created, and allowed 'that war' to begin, in the first place.

Now, to stop that war is to apologize for what 'you' have done, promise to not do that, again, and then see what transpires. But continually doing the very opposite, of what was promised would not be done, does not leave much faith nor trust in you people, obviously.

you will have to prove that you people can be trusted. Which, from what you people have been doing, and allowing to happen, for quite a while now, will take some time in getting any trust at all back, let alone full trust back.
