On that we're in strict accord! I wonder, what would one call the species which made it into one. It certainly wasn't god!

If there is no God, then I would call the species that made the world into a dumpster victims of fate.

The easy way out! Blame an abstraction called fate instead of the humans who are totally responsible but make it appear as though it were all inevitable, maliciously supervised by fate. But then, humans from day one were always expert in passing the buck. Nothing new here! Trump was always blaming Biden throughout history!

There are no criminals, therefore there is no crime is our way out of this mess!

I think she is a memory of the old man's women ... mother, grandmother, wife, daughter.

I think she is a memory of the old man's women ... mother, grandmother, wife, daughter.

I see it as an old man watching as his clock runs out, as he moves further and further away from the happier pursuits of youth. It has a somber meaning to me, perhaps that's no surprise.
