'I don't care' what you think a feminist is. You seem to have very little understanding of this topic, apart from being desperate to blame women for it. It's men who are causing all the problems, with women enabling them. I have no idea why but it needs to stop. They are probably just dumb.

As a matter of fact the origins of this present mess go back to a NZ-born MAN and 'sexologist' who came up with the idea of 'gneder identity' which evolved into 'gender theory'. It was enthusiastically embraced by American academia and the result is what we see today. He was a fundamentalist christian. A dreadful man who did a lot of harm. Germaine Greer, an ACTUAL feminist, wrote extensively about 'transexualism'. She wrote an article about it back in 1989 which is pretty well impossible to find online ( I wonder why). It's called 'Why sex change is a lie'.
This argument is a waste of energy. The problem now is trying to undo what's been done. The Supreme Court in the UK has at least gone part of the way to restoring a bit of sanity. We will just have to see if it holds. There's an enraged push-back going on by entitled, middle-aged white men.

She had legs like a racehorse, with huge hip joints, because of her chemical engineering. Her world-record time was beaten, in the same year, by at least 15 high school boys. That means it was beaten as well by more college athletes, and by every single professional male dasher. Had any of the high school boys run with Joyner, they, not she, would hold that world record. And to this day, there's no other woman who could touch that record.

That's just the speed gap. The strength gap is even more profound. Then there's the bone-density gap, the height gap, the endurance gap...To put men in women's sports is essentially to wipe out women's sports completely.

Through gritted teeth, the Guardian reports that the English football association, and the netball one too, have banned men from playing in women's games, and that cricket is due to do likewise today. That such an announcement has to even be made is a sign of the lunacy of our times, but just possibly, that this lunacy is coming to an end.

I used to enjoy field hockey at school, an adapted version of it, of course, and sometimes, just for fun, we played against a boys' team. But that's the point, it was a bit of fun. No one was under any illusions that this was in any way fair. Having said that, we always gave them a good run.

I don't understand the fixation some on the left have with allowing transmen to play women's sports or use women's bathrooms. Not sure how that is going to win the left any support at the voting booth, except the queer vote, I guess. Democracy and workers' rights can go down the toilet but, 'by God, we're going to allow transmen (or women or whatever I'm supposed to call them) play in women's sports.' I don't understand what has happened to the left. But I suppose maybe it's easier to protest on behalf of trans people than it is to speak up for democracy and worker's rights. The powers that be don't care what you believe so long as workers don't make squat and the elite control the political process.
