MusicBee Portable

Post by Phil8659 »

I finally found a perfect MP3 audio-book player. It is completely green, i.e., the portable version can be put into any directory.
you can shut it down at any time, and it will restart any file on your playlist, at the point you stopped listening, i.e., auto book marking.
Fantastic. I use it to listen to edicts. I convert to mp3, and listen. I can even recompile, and MusicBee does not freak out, it plays the new file as if it were the old. Fantastic.

Thanks for sharing this! MusicBee Portable sounds like a great solution for audiobook listeners. The auto-bookmarking feature is especially useful—no more losing your place when you stop and restart. I’ve been using [Alternative Player Name] for similar purposes, but I’ll definitely give MusicBee a try.

Do you have any tips for optimizing settings for audiobooks? Also, what do you use for converting text to MP3? Always looking for better workflows.

Glad you found something that works so well for you!
