It's the way I perceive my life. If you perceive your life differently, then that's fine.Age wrote: ↑Tue Apr 01, 2025 7:02 amIs 'this' FOR EVERY one, FOR SOME, or just FOR "gary childress", in 'the moment' when you wrote 'this'?Gary Childress wrote: ↑Tue Apr 01, 2025 6:37 am Life is pointless, humiliating and boring. Re: Gary's Corner
Okay great. So, instead of saying or writing, 'Life', (itself), is pointless, humiliating, and boring', which it OBVIOUSLY IS NOT True, why did you not just express the ACTUAL Truth, INSTEAD, by just saying and writing, 'My, (gary childress's) life is pointless, humiliating, and boring, to you'?Gary Childress wrote: ↑Tue Apr 01, 2025 9:05 pmIt's the way I perceive my life.Age wrote: ↑Tue Apr 01, 2025 7:02 amIs 'this' FOR EVERY one, FOR SOME, or just FOR "gary childress", in 'the moment' when you wrote 'this'?Gary Childress wrote: ↑Tue Apr 01, 2025 6:37 am Life is pointless, humiliating and boring. See when you SPEAK and WRITE ACTUAL IRREFUTABLE Truths like 'this', INSTEAD, then there is absolutely NO one who COULD refute you.
And IS A COMPLETELY MOOT POINT, AS WELL.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Tue Apr 01, 2025 9:05 pm If you perceive your life differently, then that's fine.

Gazza, do yourself a favour and jump on an aeroplane to Angeles City (Philipines) - vibrant expat community - USA, UK, NZ, AUSTRALIANS - everyone are actually happy, now that they're not in the ridiculous Western rat race. The locals are all so happy too - BIG billiard scene so I've been learning to play USA version, getting the hang of it.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2025 9:36 am I think I'm going to put on a dunce cap and assign myself a corner. Honestly mate, I have not been this happy er..ever.

Thanks, Atto. I've never been outside the US except for one trip I took to the Bahamas. Not sure how well I would adjust to a new country at this point. It would be especially bad if they didn't offer affordable mental health care services. Otherwise, it sounds wonderful.attofishpi wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 5:16 amGazza, do yourself a favour and jump on an aeroplane to Angeles City (Philipines) - vibrant expat community - USA, UK, NZ, AUSTRALIANS - everyone are actually happy, now that they're not in the ridiculous Western rat race. Life stinks. I'm tired of being a loser. I may as well pack it in and give up on finding a love interest who will love me back. Screw this world anyway. I'm sorry I was ever born.
Re: Gary's Corner
Life stinks for a hundred different reasons but not ever for not finding a love interest. Why regret not having something which never existed in the first place except as an inevitable hangover! Love never made the world go round, except as dedication to one's own interests.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Wed May 07, 2025 2:24 am Life stinks. I'm tired of being a loser. Loneliness is just one more reason to regret having been born.Dubious wrote: ↑Wed May 07, 2025 2:48 amLife stinks for a hundred different reasons but not ever for not finding a love interest. So not the response you were looking for? If you are that desperate for 'company' then invest in one of those sex dolls. They are fairly realistic these days and you would be much happier with one of those than an actual woman. A relationship is never going to work when one side is completely self-absorbed and indifferent to the other person's feelings. Hardly any relationships last anyway.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Wed May 07, 2025 2:58 amStop responding to my posts, please.accelafine wrote: ↑Wed May 07, 2025 2:57 amOMG. Or you could always do what godelian did: go and live in SE Asia and buy some underage prostitutes to 'marry'.

That's all contingent on how much one depends on the company of others not to feel lonely. Those who claim independence from that necessity rarely feel lonely keeping their own company. In fact, it's not so unusual to feel the company of others as an inconvenient interruption. Most of the time it's people's effect on others that causes regret in having been born.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Wed May 07, 2025 2:57 amLoneliness is just one more reason to regret having been born.Dubious wrote: ↑Wed May 07, 2025 2:48 amLife stinks for a hundred different reasons but not ever for not finding a love interest. ...or as Philip Larkin so succinctly put it:
Man hands on misery to man.
It deepens like a coastal shelf.
Get out as early as you can,
And don’t have any kids yourself.

It's not like we come here to talk to ourselves. We seek companionship in one form or another.Dubious wrote: ↑Wed May 07, 2025 5:46 amThat's all contingent on how much one depends on the company of others not to feel lonely.
